LEAVES OF ABSENCE‌ Eligibility and Conditions of Leaves. All applications for anticipated leaves must be on file in the Certificated Personnel Office at least sixty (60) days prior to the effective date of the leave unless otherwise provided in the policy. A leave of absence will normally be granted for only one school year at a time. Granting of a second year leave of absence is at the discretion of the Board of Education. A bargaining unit member requesting a leave shall be bound by all of the terms and conditions stated at the time of authorization of the leaves by the governing board.

  • General Leave of Absence a) Leave of absence without pay may be granted to employees for valid reasons as set out by Company policy.
