Leave With Pay for Family-Related Responsibilities. Employees may utilize accrued lieu time or accrued vacation for situations of Emergency Leave as recognized under the Ontario Employment Standards Act. Employees who qualify may take an unpaid leave for Family Medical Leave, pursuant to the Employment Standards Act. Employees who qualify may also be eligible for Compassionate Care Benefits, pursuant to the Employment Insurance Act.
