Laws Affecting Benchmark Availability Sample Clauses
The "Laws Affecting Benchmark Availability" clause defines how changes in laws or regulations that impact the use or publication of financial benchmarks are addressed within an agreement. It typically outlines the parties' obligations if a benchmark becomes unavailable or its use becomes illegal, such as requiring the selection of a replacement benchmark or adjusting contractual terms accordingly. This clause ensures that contracts remain functional and enforceable even if external legal changes disrupt the original benchmark, thereby reducing uncertainty and maintaining the integrity of financial arrangements.
