Joint Employee Education, Training and Development Fund Sample Clauses

Joint Employee Education, Training and Development Fund. A Joint Employee Education, Training and Development Fund shall be established. The level of funding will be composed of two (2) equal parts. Each party's contribution will be at the level of 1 cent per hour for all hours in pay status. The funding will be made available effective the first day of each fiscal year based on all hours in pay status during the previous fiscal year. (*See Letter of Understanding)

  • Training and Development 12.1 The parties are committed to, and acknowledge the mutual benefit to the employer and employee of planned human resource development and the provision and participation in relevant development opportunities (including accredited training).

  • Training and Education SECTION 1 – Law Enforcement Supervisors’ Training The state and the PBA recognize the importance of supervisor training programs to develop management skills in our law enforcement supervisors. The state will make a reasonable effort to continue existing training programs in law enforcement techniques and to develop new programs in performance review techniques, supervisory skills, and managerial techniques.

  • Learning and Development (i) Managers and supervisors are responsible for promoting and supporting learning activities for employees in their area of responsibility.

  • Research and Development (i) Advice and assistance in relation to research and development of Party B;

  • TRAINING AND EMPLOYEE DEVELOPMENT 9.1 The Employer and the Union recognize the value and benefit of education and training designed to enhance an employee’s ability to perform their job duties. Training and employee development opportunities will be provided to employees in accordance with college/district policies and available resources.

  • Transition Planning The AGENCY will be responsible for the development of the student’s Transition Plan, which begins upon entry and is completed prior to the student’s exit.

  • Education, Training and Experience Grade 12 and two years' recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

  • TRAINING AND RELATED MATTERS The parties recognise that in order to increase the efficiency and productivity of the company a significant commitment to structured training and skill development is required. Accordingly the parties commit themselves to:
