Common use of INDIVIDUAL DISPUTE ADJUSTMENT Clause in Contracts

INDIVIDUAL DISPUTE ADJUSTMENT. Nothing in this Agreement in any manner affects the right of an individual employee or group of employees to present grievances to the Company under this Article nor affects the rights of the Union under the National Labor Relations Act, as amended. The Company agrees, however, that after a grievance arising under any provision of this Agreement has been referred to a Representative of the Union and such Representative has dealt with a Company Representative with respect thereto, no Company Representative will adjust or attempt to adjust the grievance with the employee or employees involved unless a Representative of the Union is first given an opportunity to be present at the adjustment.
