Common use of Illness in Family Clause in Contracts

Illness in Family. Up to ten (10) school days, charged against sick leave, shall be permitted for illness in the immediate family, including spouse, child, parent, mother-in-law and father-in-law, or anyone who lives regularly in the household of the unit member. (See also Article 20.1.) Members may request an extension of allowable leave by contacting the Director of Human Resources or the Superintendent.
