Common use of Hot Lunches Clause in Contracts

Hot Lunches. Hot lunches will not be provided; however, hot soup, beverages and sandwiches will be made available. It will be the responsibility of the Employee to take the supplied lunch with him to the work site. Where the work site is within close proximity of the Employee's accommodations, hot lunches may be provided at the discretion of the Employer. As an alternative to the foregoing, where camp accommodation is a motel, hotel or similar, a daily allowance to cover transportation and travel time may be mutually agreed upon by the Parties signatory to this Agreement. Vehicles used to transport workers shall be approved passenger vehicles conforming to public transit standards and operated in compliance with WorkSafeBC regulations.
