  • Orientation The Employer shall provide planned and paid Orientation Programs of such content and duration as it deems appropriate taking into consideration the needs of the Employer and the Nurses involved.   • Instructor Associated with the position of Instructor is a nominal workload of 195 hours per half-credit course. This nominal workload is normally made up of scheduled contact time with students and non-classroom time. The non-classroom time is made up of preparation of lectures, student consultation, marking or grading and course administration, including grade appeals and cases of academic dishonesty.   • ATTENDANCE AND PUNCTUALITY Employees must comply with City policies relating to hours of work and taking leave. Employees must report to work on time, clock in or sign in if required to do so, and call-in according to the applicable collective bargaining agreement or City policy if unable to report for work on time. Employees must monitor their sick leave and vacation leave balances to ensure they have sufficient time accrued to cover absences and that leave usage is accurately recorded in City records. Employees must be approved for any leave prior to being absent, except in emergency situations.
