Full-Time Faculty Vacancies. If a faculty vacancy arises due to the death, resignation, long-term illness or termination of a faculty member during the life of this Agreement, the remaining faculty members from the concerned curriculum area shall meet with the Xxxx or Executive Xxxx, as appropriate, and together make a written advisory recommendation to the appropriate Vice President as to whether or not the faculty vacancy should be filled. If no consensus is reached, the faculty members and/or administrators who have met may submit separate written advisory recommendations. All such recommendations shall be submitted to the appropriate Vice President, then to the College President within five (5) school days following the meeting, and the Vice President shall not make a recommendation to the College President as to whether or not the faculty vacancy should be filled until after the time period stated herein for receiving such recommendations has passed. After receiving any such recommendation, the Vice President may convene a meeting with the faculty members from the concerned curriculum area and/or the Xxxx or Executive Xxxx, as appropriate, to discuss a recommendation further. A copy of the Vice President's recommendation to the College President shall be made available to the faculty members from the concerned curriculum area upon request.

The employee’s ordinary hours of work will not exceed an average of 38 hours per week over a 4 week period. Although the actual hours of work may vary from week to week, with some weeks greater than 38 hours and other weeks less, the employee will not work in excess of 152 ordinary hours in any four week period.

  • Full-Time A full-time employee is an employee who regularly works forty (40) hours per week and 2080 hours per calendar year.

  • Regular Full-Time A regular full-time employee is any person employed on a full-time permanent basis whose duties fall within the bargaining unit as defined in Article 2 of this Agreement and who has completed the probationary period.
