Flex Break. Employees working under a “Flex Break” method of operation ‐ where the work processes do not stop during shifts. Employees may exercise their discretion as to when their break and lunch periods are scheduled, as long as employees schedule their break and lunch periods within a reasonable timeframe on either side of the stated break and lunch periods outlined in Option B. The Company reserves the right to withdraw support for this increased flexibility in the timing of breaks and lunches if abused; in this situation Option B below will apply. Related to Flex Break

  • Lunch Break Each Teacher shall receive each day an uninterrupted and continuous period of not less than forty (40) minutes for lunch, free from supervisory, teaching or other assigned duties (reference: Regulation 298.s. 3, Daily Sessions).

  • Coffee Breaks All employees will receive a coffee break not exceeding fifteen minutes in duration twice each shift. The time when coffee breaks will be taken will be at the discretion of the employee’s immediate supervisor.

  • Coffee Break 23:01 The Employer shall recognize a paid coffee break period of 15 minutes duration in each half of a shift, whether during a normal work day or on shift work.

  • Lunch Breaks The lunch break will consist of a one-half hour (or one hour where scheduled) unpaid break taken mid-way during regular work day. In the event that an employee is required to work during his regular lunch period he shall be allowed a one-half hour lunch period between the hours of ll:30 a.m. and l:00 p.m., otherwise he shall be paid double time for working through said lunch period.

  • H3 Break H3.1 The Authority shall have the right to terminate the Contract at any time by giving three (3) Months’ written notice to the Contractor. The Authority may extend the period of notice at any time before it expires, subject to agreement on the level of Services to be provided by the Contractor during the period of extension.

  • Tea Breaks (a) Every employee will be entitled to a paid 10 minute tea break in each four hours worked at a time to be agreed between the employee and employer.

  • Flextime (a) For the purpose of this Agreement, flextime means the hours worked by an employee, or group of employees, who are given authority by the Employer to:

  • Rest Break 6.4.10(a) An employee working overtime must be allowed a rest break of 20 minutes without deduction of pay after each four hours of overtime worked if the employee is to continue work after the rest break.

  • Break The Authority may terminate the Contractor’s interest in the Framework Agreement at any time by giving not less than 3 months’ notice to the Contractor.

  • Rest Breaks Employees shall receive a fifteen (15) minute break during each four (4) hours worked. It is the Employer's intention to provide uninterrupted rest breaks.
