Extra Leave For 20 or More Call Ins. 3.16.1 From the pay period commencing on or after 1st September 2009, permanent staff who are nominated to perform on-call work and who, as part of that arrangement, are called in to work on 20 or more occasions in any one year shall accrue an additional 38 hours of annual leave. This leave is paid at ordinary daily rates and is exclusive of leave loading.

The Hospital will bill the local Association within a reasonable period of time. Part-time nurses will receive service and seniority credit for all leaves granted under this Article.

  • Leave of Absence for College Committees An employee whose assigned work schedule would prevent her/him from attending meetings of a college committee to which s/he has been elected or appointed, will be granted a leave of absence from her/his regular duties without loss of pay or other entitlements to attend such meeting(s). Where such leave is granted, the employer will replace the employee as necessary. Costs arising from this provision will not be charged against the program area of the participating employee.
