Employees with Reduced Hours on SharedWork program 26 It is agreed for eligible employees whose hours have been reduced to be part of the 27 SharedWork program through the Employment Security Department. The employee 28 must be eligible under the SharedWork program criteria in order to receive 29 unemployment benefits. The SharedWork program helps to retain skilled workers, 30 reduce payroll costs, and is an alternative to layoffs. Employee participation in the 31 SharedWork program is a benefit to both the employee and the District. 33 Claimants participating in the SharedWork program retain their medical benefits, 34 seniority and leave accrual continues as if they are working their full hours, and do 35 not have to look for other employment. Employees in the SharedWork program are 36 responsible for paying their portion of their health care premiums. 38 Employees in the SharedWork program must be available for all work offered by their 39 administrator/director. Reasonable notice will be provided for the employee to accept 40 the work offer. Employees are not able to decline work time and remain on the 41 SharedWork program. Employees asked to perform additional work beyond their 42 reduced contract hours would timesheet those hours.

  • Employees with a Work-related Injury/Disability An employee who was off the State payroll due to a work-related injury or a work-related disability may continue to participate in the Group Insurance Program as long as such an employee receives workers' compensation payments or while the workers' compensation claim is pending.

  • Employees - Basic Eligibility Employees may participate in the Group Insurance Program if they are scheduled to work at least 1044 hours in any twelve consecutive months, except for:

  • Part-time Employees Eligible for Holidays 367. Part-time employees who regularly work a minimum of twenty (20) hours in a bi-weekly pay period shall be entitled to holiday pay on a proportionate basis. 368. Regular full-time employees are entitled to 8/80 or 1/10 time off when a holiday falls in a bi-weekly pay period, therefore, part-time employees, as defined in the immediately preceding paragraph, shall receive a holiday based upon the ratio of 1/10 of the total hours regularly worked in a bi-weekly pay period. Holiday time off shall be determined by calculating 1/10 of the hours worked by the part-time employee in the bi-weekly pay period immediately preceding the pay period in which the holiday falls. The computation of holiday time off shall be rounded to the nearest hour.

  • Employees - Special Eligibility The following employees are also eligible to participate in the Group Insurance Program:

  • Medicaid-Funded Hours Worked Effective July 1, 2021, the Employer shall contribute the Retirement Rate or eighty cents ($0.80), whichever is higher, to the Retirement Trust for each Medicaid-Funded Hour worked by all home care workers covered by this Agreement with seven-hundred and one (701) or more cumulative career hours and fifty cents ($0.50) for each hour worked by all home care workers covered by this Agreement with less than seven-hundred one (701) cumulative career hours. Medicaid- Funded Hour(s) worked shall be defined as all hours worked by all employees covered by this Agreement in the Employer's in-home care program that are paid by Medicaid, excluding vacation hours, paid-time off hours, and training hours.

  • Employees Not Eligible for Holiday Compensation 366. Persons employed for holiday work only, or persons employed on a part-time work schedule which is less than twenty (20) hours in a bi-weekly pay period, or persons employed on an intermittent part-time work schedule (not regularly scheduled), or persons employed on as-needed, seasonal or project basis for less than six (6) months continuous service, or persons on leave without pay status immediately preceding or immediately following the legal holiday shall not receive holiday pay.
