Emergency and Medical Insurance. Students traveling outside the United States will automatically have access to Xxxxxx’x medical and emergency insurance coverage and benefits (“Coverage”) to supplement their US insurance policy through Educational and Institutional Insurance Administrators (EIIA) during the Program. Students who need medical assistance will pay for services upfront and may request a reimbursement through the EIIA claims process. The policy statement summary, insurance card, and the instructions for submitting a claim can be found online at xxxx://xxx.xxxx.xxx/international-travel/. Student further acknowledges that Xxxxxx University is not an agent or representative of EIIA and has no control and/or influence over EIIA’s processing of any claim Student may make under such Coverage. Trip cancellation and interruption insurance are NOT included. These types of insurance may help families recover travel expenses if an emergency prevents the student from traveling. Students desiring such coverage should contact their insurance provider or shop online for a policy. Related to Emergency and Medical Insurance

  • Hospital and Medical Insurance The University shall make available health insurance to the employees covered by this agreement to the same extent and in the same manner as is available to other University employees, such as Faculty and the Executive, Administrative and Professional Staff employees. It is the University's goal to have the same health insurance plans offered uniformly to all University groups and employees.

  • Basic Medical Insurance All regular Employees may choose to be covered by the medical plan for which the British Columbia Medical Plan is the licensed carrier. Benefits and premiums shall be in accordance with the existing policy of the plan. The Employer will pay one hundred percent (100%) of the regular premium.

  • Medical Insurance Upon termination of employment, the Executive shall be entitled to all COBRA continuation benefits available under the Company's group health plans to similarly situated employees. To the extent permitted under Code Section 409A, during the applicable Payout Period, the Company shall provide such COBRA continuation benefits to the Executive at the active employee rates similarly situated employees must pay for such benefits. Upon the expiration of such Payout Period, the Executive will be responsible for paying the full COBRA premiums for the remaining COBRA continuation period.

  • Retiree Medical Insurance Retiree insurance coverage is included within each medical plan for all retirees under the age of 65 years, through self-payment. The Employer shall make available an appropriate medical plan for all eligible retirees ages 65 years or older.

  • Optical Insurance The Employer shall contribute the full composite premium cost for an optical insurance plan policy premium for each SUCCESS employee deemed eligible (e.g. Vision Service Plan). Participation in the optical insurance benefit is voluntary for each eligible SUCCESS employee. In order to qualify for the Employer’s share of the monthly premium, the SUCCESS employee must qualify under the rules and regulations of the respective carrier and may enroll in one of the following plans:

  • Emergency Medical Care a. How to appropriately use Emergency Services and facilities, including a description of the services offered by the Member Services Call Center;

  • Cosmetic Services We do not Cover cosmetic services or surgery unless otherwise specified, except that cosmetic surgery shall not include reconstructive surgery when such service is incidental to or follows surgery resulting from trauma, infection or diseases of the involved part, and reconstructive surgery because of congenital disease or anomaly of a covered Child which has resulted in a functional defect , except for cosmetic orthodontics as described in the Dental Care sections of this Contract. Cosmetic surgery does not include surgery determined to be Medically Necessary. If a claim for a procedure listed in 11 NYCRR 56 (e.g., certain plastic surgery and dermatology procedures) is submitted retrospectively and without medical information, any denial will not be subject to the Utilization Review process in the Utilization Review and External Appeal sections of this Contract unless medical information is submitted.

  • Air Travel Insurance (a) In the event of death or disability incurred while travelling by commercial aircraft on business of the Employer, regular and auxiliary employees will be covered by the terms and conditions of the Employer blanket insurance policy.

  • Emergency Medical Services The City’s Fire Department and MedStar (or other entity engaged by the City after the Effective Date) will provide emergency medical services.

  • Travel Insurance The Employer shall provide and pay the full cost for travel insurance to cover all members of the bargaining unit for all modes of travel, in the amount of $200,000.00. The travel insurance policy shall also cover employees while on union business.
