Effective Use of Resources. In certain situations it may be necessary for staff employees not covered by this Agreement to temporarily perform work in occupations covered by this Agreement. These situations are defined as:

Promotes cost effectiveness through the proper use and conservation of supplies and equipment. Identifies cost saving measures. Reports needed repairs or potential hazards to the appropriate department as soon as identified. Reports all on-the-job injuries and seeks medical attention as appropriate.
Effective Use of Resources. Use of resources effectively having obtained a full understanding of overall workforce utilisation, tracking resource demand fluctuations, ensuring the appropriate utilisation of Substantive Workers and planning for the appropriate use of Flexible Workers.

Certain pre-existing terms and conditions of District employment remain intact, perhaps in modified form. Terms and conditions which will henceforth be addressed at the local school level largely do not appear in substantive form in the document, as they will be addressed on a school-by-school basis in consultation with the school faculty and other representatives. The terms and conditions of employment articulated herein shall survive the expiration of the Receivership.

Skills: • In-depth knowledge of HRH situation, needs, priorities and action plans in the federal context and understanding of organizational structure in public sector; • Knowledge of systems strengthening issues and implementation barriers at the national and subnational levels; • Ability to closely work with the government ministries and other key stakeholders; and • Capacity to manage in diverse team and adoptive to the circumstances.
