Ears. Hearing must be good in both ears and there should be no sign of suppurative disease. No hearing aid shall be permitted.

  • Lunch Breaks The lunch break will consist of a one-half hour (or one hour where scheduled) unpaid break taken mid-way during regular work day. In the event that an employee is required to work during his regular lunch period he shall be allowed a one-half hour lunch period between the hours of ll:30 a.m. and l:00 p.m., otherwise he shall be paid double time for working through said lunch period.

  • Bilingual Pay Where the Employer currently pays bilingual pay or bonuses, it shall continue to do so. The Employer retains discretion to initiate bilingual pay or bonuses. The minimum bilingual bonus or hourly equivalent is $25 per pay period. The Employer may not require an employee to use bilingual skills without paying the appropriate bonus or pay. This does not apply to employees where such skills are in the classification specification.

  • Breaks Every employee working on video display equipment shall be required to take a break away from his/her screen of at least fifteen (15) minutes after two (2) hours' work. In the event that normal work schedule does not provide a lunch or rest break every two (2) hours, the employee shall be assigned duties away from the video display screen for fifteen (15) minutes after two (2) hours' work.

  • Lunch Break When an employee works five (5) continuous hours or more he/she shall be given an unpaid one- half (1/2) hour lunch period commencing between the fourth (4th) and fifth (5th) hour of work. When an employee works overtime they will be granted an unpaid one-half (1/2) hour break five

  • Travel Time Leave provided in paragraphs A and B of this Article shall apply to and cover actual and necessary travel to and from such meetings required during normal working hours on the day of the meeting or negotiations, except that MSEA-SEIU bargaining team members traveling 100 miles or more to negotiations shall be entitled to travel time outside of days of negotiations.

  • Graduation The Supervisor or Manager shall grant up to one (1) day per school year for the Employee to attend their own graduation ceremonies, or the convocation of a child, spouse or partner.

  • Lunch Period Lunch break shall be one-half (1/2) hour as scheduled and taken within one (1) hour of the mid-point of the normal hours of work. The lunch period will be measured from ceasing labour to commencement of labour and will be taken at a time mutually agreed by the parties hereto.

  • Travel Pay Any employee required by the Employer to travel to a place of work other than his/her regular official duty station shall be reimbursed for travel costs, if eligible, in accordance with University policy.

  • Teaching Load Full teaching assignments shall normally include 12 course credit hours of scheduled teaching per academic quarter. A reassignment of duty, for the equivalent of 3 or 4 credit course, shall be provided during one term of the first academic year to all newly hired tenure track faculty to further their teaching, scholarship and service and to encourage faculty retention. Wherever possible the University will endeavor to arrange teaching schedules that avoid excessive numbers of preparations and recognize evening and/or off-campus assignments. Class sizes will be established and monitored by the appropriate academic xxxx in consultation with division chairs and affected faculty each term.
