Early Return From Administrative Leave. Leave does not have to last until completion of the investigation or until discipline is imposed. If the investigation reveals that the employee’s presence in the workplace will not threaten or endanger children, self, or others, disrupt the educational or work environment, or interfere with the investigation, the employee may be brought back from administrative leave. This can occur regardless of whether the investigation has been completed or discipline is ultimately imposed.
