Common use of Dues and Fees Clause in Contracts

Dues and Fees. Upon receipt of an appropriate written authorization from the employee, the Employer agrees to deduct from the pay of each employee covered by this Agreement Union membership dues or fees. Deductions will be made within thirty (30) days of the receipt of a completed authorization form. The Union agrees to provide the Employer with thirty (30) days advance written notice of any change in the amount of dues or fees required. The Employer agrees to remit electronically any deductions made pursuant to this provision to the Union by the twelfth (12th) of each month with an electronic report showing the following information for each employee:
