Common use of Department of Administrative Services Clause in Contracts

Department of Administrative Services. If the grievance remains unresolved, the IAFF Local 3340 may file the grievance with the Department of Administrative Services, Labor Relations Unit within fifteen (15) calendar days after the response was due for review and response. The Labor Relations Unit may request a mutually-agreeable time to meet, and if a meeting is held, will provide a formal written response within fifteen (15) calendar days of either the date of such meeting or receipt of the IAFF Local 3340's request for review and response, whichever is later. In the event the Step 3 response is acceptable to the Association, such response shall have the same force and effect as a decision or award of an arbitrator, and shall be final and binding on all parties and they will abide thereby.
