Department Chairs for Vocational Shops at Xxxxxx. All provisions of Article 10, Department Chairs of the parties’ collective bargaining agreement are and shall be in full force and effect, except as provided below. Vocational Department Chairs will be able to split the responsibilities as outlined in Article 10, as well as, but not limited to the following additional responsibilities: • Managing cost centers where applicable • Bill Customers • Recommend shop budgets • Order perishable and non-perishable goods • Monitor and manage inventories, as needed • Interface with outside clients-meetings, emails, phone calls etc. • Manage shop equipment, including ensuring their safe operation The Department Chair stipend will also be split. This arrangement will be determined between the Chapter 74 director, shop teachers and SEA representatives. If the department chair responsibilities are to be divided, an action plan of responsibilities will be developed by the shop teachers and submitted to Chapter 74 director.
