Data Latency Sample Clauses

Data Latency. EMIS shall use its reasonable endeavours to ensure that Third Party Data (relevant to the Customer and in accordance with the Customer’s Order Form(s)) is updated within the Environment from EMIS Web as follows: Table type Target maximum data latency Explorer Web Tables 12 hours Explorer IPCV Tables 36 hours The Data Latency target that is relevant to the Customer will depend upon whether it uses Explorer Web Tables and/or Explorer IPCV Tables. EMIS does not guarantee the aforementioned latency targets. Please also be aware that that data latency can be affected by a number of factors that may impact the perceived data latency on a customer by customer basis. These include: • Incidents occurring; • the size of the source EMIS Web data type/table (e.g. big tables (e.g. Observation) with lots of data will take longer to replicate than smaller tables); • the number of practices co-located in the same EMIS Web database (i.e. if a database has one practice, then it’ll get replicated quicker than one with multiple practices); • the number of practices on the relevant EMIS Web patch domain server (i.e. if a patch domain server has only a few practices, data may be replicated quicker); • the time of day (for example it may take longer during EMIS Web operational hours when usage is higher); and/or • during relevant periods of extra load (for example, during periods that GP QOF figures are being re-calculated in EMIS Web and/or reposted all databases will be under significant extra demand / load).
