Cost Sharing of Employer Contribution. Per CalPERS contract amendment which went into effect on October 29, 2016, SBEA-MISCELLANEOUS EMPLOYEE GROUP employees will continue to contribute 1.04% of pay towards the normal cost in addition to paying their entire employee share of the CalPERS retirement contribution for a total of 9.04%.
