Commencement of Work; Notice to Proceed. The GRANTEE shall not perform or allow the performance of (in the case where the GRANTEE is a Fiscal Sponsor) any services required by this Agreement, or incur costs under this Agreement, until this Agreement has been executed by all parties and not before the NTP date issued to the GRANTEE by the CITY. Costs incurred before the NTP date are not allowable and will not be paid. The GRANTEE acknowledges that the CITY will not issue a NTP until the CITY has completed the appropriate environmental review as required under HRS Chapter 343.

  • Commencement of Work Engineer shall not commence any field work under this Contract until he/she/it has obtained all required insurance and such insurance has been approved by County. As further set out below, Engineer shall not allow any subcontractor/subconsultant(s) to commence work to be performed in connection with this Contract until all required insurance has been obtained and approved and such approval shall not be unreasonably withheld. Approval of the insurance by County shall not relieve or decrease the liability of Engineer hereunder.

  • Notice to Proceed Work shall not commence on this Project until the Director has issued a written Notice to Proceed to the Recipient. Such Notice will not be issued until the Director is assured that the Recipient has complied with the Recipient's responsibilities concerning OEPA plan approval, when applicable. A Notice to Proceed shall be required for all project prime contractors or direct procurement initiated by the Recipient following execution of this Agreement.

  • Completion of Work Contractor is accountable for completing the Work within the Contract Time stated in the Contract, or as otherwise amended by Change Order.
