Common use of Change of Shift Clause in Contracts

Change of Shift. a. In the event the Company is obliged to schedule a change in shifts without prior notice being given at least twenty four (24) hours before such shift change, the Employees affected will be paid the applicable overtime rate for all hours worked on the first shift of the changeover.

Change of Shift. a. (a) When it is necessary for the Company to change an employee’s shift, the employee shall be given forty-eight (48) hours’ notice prior to the commencement of this previous regularly scheduled shift. In the event that the Company forty-eight (48) hours’ notice is obliged to schedule a change in shifts without prior notice being given at least twenty four (24) hours before such shift changenot given, the Employees affected will employee shall be paid the applicable overtime given two (2) times his basic rate for all hours worked on the first shift of the changeoverchange.

In the event that the Company 40 hours notice is obliged to schedule a change in shifts without prior notice being not given at least twenty four (24) hours before such shift change, the Employees affected will employee shall be paid the applicable overtime given two times his basic rate for all hours worked on the first shift of the changeoverchange.
