Ceremonial Leave. Ceremonial Leave without pay may be granted with approval of the Chief Executive, to an employee of Aboriginal descent for ceremonial purposes: • Connected with the death of a member of the family; or • For other ceremonial obligations under Aboriginal law. The maximum period of ceremonial leave shall be 10 working days in a calendar year. Ceremonial leave granted is in addition to other leave to which an employee is entitled and does not count for days of service for any purpose.
