Common use of Ceremonial Leave Clause in Contracts

Ceremonial Leave. An employee who is legitimately required by Aboriginal and Xxxxxx Xxxxxx Islander tradition to be absent from work for Aboriginal and Xxxxxx Xxxxxx Islander ceremonial purposes will be entitled to up to ten working days unpaid leave in any one year, with the approval of the employer.

Ceremonial Leave. An employee who is legitimately required by Aboriginal and or Xxxxxx Xxxxxx Islander Island tradition to be absent from work for Aboriginal and or Xxxxxx Xxxxxx Islander Island ceremonial purposes will be entitled to up to ten 10 working days days’ unpaid leave in any one year, year with the approval of the employer.

Approval must be sought and Xxxxxx Xxxxxx Islander ceremonial purposes given by the Chief Executive Officer prior to taking such leave and, if requested by the employer, evidence, the form of which will be entitled to up to ten working days unpaid leave in any one yearstipulated at the time, with must be provided by the approval of the employeremployee.
