Association Operations. 4.2.1. As a basic operating principle, the District and the Association believe that a collaborative approach to settling issues is preferable to both parties seeking legal remedies for routine situations. Unit members and Association representatives are encouraged to consult with site and District administration regarding any issue impacting his/her conditions of employment. 4.2.2. The District will provide access to and use of school facilities, subject to applicable codes and policies. The Association may schedule meetings utilizing district facilities during non-working hours, as long as the facility is available and does not conflict with previously scheduled events. The Association may meet with unit members during their duty free lunch-time at the discretion of the members. 4.2.3. Association representatives, who are not members of a particular school staff, shall have access to a campus during reasonable times during a school day, as long as they have signed in with the main administrative school office and the visit does not interrupt classroom instruction. 4.2.4. Unit members may use District email, bulletin boards and school mailboxes for Association business, subject to applicable codes and policies.
Association Operations. The rights and/or privileges granted to the association in this article shall not be granted to any other public employee/education/public school employee group, union, association, club, or membership-driven organization during the term of this agreement.
Association Operations. Prior to Closing, Sellers shall cause Sellers’ Representative to vote in such a manner as (i) to cause the Association to operate, manage and insure the Common Elements of the Condominium, in the same manner and in the same condition as they are in as of the Effective Date, subject to reasonable wear and tear and casualty; (ii) to comply with all material requirements of the Act, the Declaration, or any other condominium related documents affecting the Condominium units at all times prior to the Closing Date; and (iii) not to waive Association reserves.

  • Association Activities The parties agree employees shall have the right to form, join, and participate in the lawful activities of the Association for the purpose of representation in matters of employment relations. No employee shall be interfered with, restrained, coerced, or discriminated against because of the exercise of such rights.

  • Associations Where Associations are shown as Special Terms in the Rights Table relating to Firm Rights, Network Rail’s Flexing Rights shall not be used to break such Associations.

The Board will provide the Association President or their designee with forty (40) days of paid release time during the course of the school year in order to conduct Association Business. The Association shall reimburse the Board for the cost of any substitute required as the result of any such released time which exceeds forty (40) days during the course of the school year. 2. The following provisions were not bargained and have been included for informational purposes only: a. Because of the many responsibilities imposed on the President of the Association, and in order to enhance the quality of instruction in the classes taught by him or her and maintain continuity, the Board will provide the building to which the President is assigned with a full-time aide who is also a certified substitute teacher. b. The building principal and the President will work out a mutually agreed upon schedule for the use of the aide. c. The presence of this aide will not be used to justify absences in excess of those authorized by the terms of this Agreement.

  • Association Grievance A grievance, as defined in Section 7.1, relating to occurrences actually involving at least three (3) nurses or arising under the Association Business article, may be initiated by the Association at Step 2 of the above-mentioned procedure by the filing of a written grievance, signed by a representative of the Association, within thirty (30) calendar days from the date of occurrence. Such grievance shall describe the problem and the contract provisions alleged to have been violated.

  • Association Business Duly authorized representatives of the Association shall be permitted to transact official Association business on school property at all reasonable times provided that such activities shall not interfere with normal school operations.
