ARWDB Appointments. The ARWDB shall be appointed by theCLEO. The nominees will be selected and constitute the local workforce development board as required by the Act. Recommendation of individual county ARWDB members will be made by the XXXx of each county. At large representatives, such as organized labor, education, economic development, one-stop partners, and community based organizations, will be appointed by the XXXX. In making appointments to the ARWDB, the XXXX shall make such initial appointments for three year terms. These initial appointments may continue at the discretion of the XXXX. It shall be the duty of the XXXx to appoint members to fill all vacancies. A vacancy shall be filled through reappointment or replacement within 60 days of the creation of the vacancy. In the case of an appointment to fill a vacancy, the replacement member’s term shall begin on the date of concurrence by the XXXX and shall end on the date designated for the original appointment for whom the replacement is selected.

  • Joint Appointments 22A.09 When sound academic reasons exist for doing so, a Faculty Member may be appointed jointly to two (2) or more Academic Departments or Faculties. Such appointments shall be at the same rank, of the same type and with the same salary rate, in the Academic Departments or Faculties concerned. When sound academic reasons exist for doing so, a Faculty Member may be appointed jointly to an Academic Department and to a non-academic unit within the University. The Faculty Member shall have his/her rank, type of appointment, academic component of salary, credit for previous experience, promotion eligibility and other academic conditions determined on the same basis as for other Faculty Members.   • SECTION 2 - APPOINTMENT 2.1 Employee is appointed as a technical officer currently assigned as the Executive Assistant effective August 4, 2020, on the terms and conditions set out in the Agreement.

The initial letter of offer shall contain the following elements:

  • Acting Appointments If an Employer appoints a Teacher to act in a promotion position for ten or more consecutive school days, the Employer must pay the Teacher the rate prescribed for that position.

  • Continuing Appointments A Continuing appointment signifies the right of a Member to continuous employment that may be terminated only through the mechanisms provided in Article 8.

  • Medical Appointments Medical appointments may be charged to sick leave, provided the minimum time charged is not less than one-half (1/2) hour. Each absence shall be reported separately and authorized in advance by the employee's immediate supervisor.
