Artist Required to Provide. Unless the directs otherwise, the Artist shall provide the following concert dress for performances under this Agreement. Men: Fall, Winter, Spring performances: Black tuxedo, black bow tie, black pants, white shirt and black socks and shoes or, Black tails, white bow tie, black pants, white shirt and black socks and shoes. Men: Summer performances: As above, or, white jacket, black bow tie, black pants, white shirt and black socks and shoes. Women -Year round: Full length concert dress, appropriate for the occasion. Required to Perform in Costume the requests that the Artist perform in costume, the shall provide or rent suitable costumes and provide appropriate cleaning and maintenance. Artists may appear in concert make-up, which they provide and apply. However, if the requires an Artist to perform in theatrical make-up, the shall provide the make-up and a make-up Artist. Personal Wardrobe, Shoes Hair Pieces Rider No Artist shall rent any wardrobe, shoes or hair to the for use in any performance unless the terms of the rental or loan are stated in a rider to engagement contract. The rider to the Artist's contract shall clearly stipulate the replacement value of the Artist's wardrobe item in the event of loss or damage, and the agreement of the to reimburse the Artist for that amount should loss or damage occur. AND BENEFITS Fundraisers The may engage an Artist to perform in a fundraising concert, the proceeds of which will be solely dedicated to activities of the or the Music Department. The Artist shall be engaged under the terms and conditions of this Agreement, however, it is understood that there is no minimum fee for such activities. The shall be responsible for providing round trip transportation and first class accommodation to the Artist performing in a fundraiser concert The Artist must be in good standing with Equity before participating in any such fundraiser concert Insurance applies to all engagements under this Article. dues and vacation pay shall apply to any fee that is negotiated for such an engagement.

  • Certification of Contractor The Contractor shall certify, over his own signature, that the Work provided for by the Contract Documents has been completed under the terms and conditions thereof, and that the entire balance of the contract is due and payable.

  • Engineer Payment of Subproviders No later than ten (10) days after receiving payment from the State, the Engineer shall pay all subproviders for work performed under a subcontract authorized hereunder.   • Independence of Contractors The Authority shall retain the Contractor as an independent contractor, and the Contractor hereby accepts such independent contractor relationship, upon the terms and conditions set forth in this Agreement. Nothing in this Agreement shall be construed to create the relationship of employer and employee between the Authority and the Contractor or any of its employees or agents. The Contractor, its employees and subcontractors, shall be deemed at all times and for all purposes to be independent contractors. The Contractor acknowledges and agrees that all payments by the Authority to the Contractor shall be made without deduction for federal, state or local income taxes, social security taxes and similar items, and that the Contractor shall be solely responsible to report income under this Agreement to the Internal Revenue Service and other appropriate taxing authorities and to pay such taxes (including, without limitation, being solely responsible to make periodic estimated payments of such taxes in accordance with applicable law). The Contractor further acknowledges and agrees that all payments under this Agreement to the Contractor by the Authority shall be reported to the Internal Revenue Service and other appropriate taxing authorities on Form 1099 (or equivalent or replacement forms). Finally, the Authority acknowledges that the manner and means of producing the Products and Services described in Exhibit A are under the control and at the discretion of the Contractor.

  • Employee Information Required to be Reported by Certain Consultant Contractors and Service Contractors Chapter 10 of the Laws of 2006 amended the Civil Service Law and the State Finance Law, relative to maintaining certain information concerning Contract Employees working under State Agency service and consulting Contracts.
