Altering spread of hours. 6.2.2(a) The daily spread of hours may be altered by up to one hour at one end of the spread (but not both) by agreement between an employer and the majority of employees affected. This is subject to Level 2 Facilitation. Provided that where agreement has been reached with the majority of employees in the workplace or section or section of it, the employer may not implement the agreement unless agreement has been reached with each individual employee to be covered by the facilitative provision.

  • Spread of Hours The ordinary hours of work prescribed in this agreement shall be between the hours of 6.00 am and 6.00 pm on any day or all of the days of the week, Monday to Friday. The spread of hours may be varied by mutual agreement between the parties to meet specific needs of the Company or employees.

  • Reduction of Hours The Employer shall not reduce the weekly hours of work of an employee for the purpose of replacing such hours with another employee at a lower hourly rate of pay.

  • Minimum Call-Back Time An employee who is called in and required to work outside their regular working hours shall be paid for a minimum of two (2) hours at overtime rates unless the call-in is immediately prior to their normal work day, in which case there should be no minimum.
