Altering Original Approved Leave. Maternity leave shall be granted for a definite stated period of time. Should extenuating circumstances cause the teacher to alter her original plans for leave, she shall submit such request to the Superintendent for consideration by the Board. Where the position and such substantially similar positions have been fulfilled by a teacher pursuant to a temporary or regular teaching contract, the teacher on leave will be considered for the next vacancy which occurs, provided that she is properly licensed and qualified.

Altering Original Approved Leave. Maternity leave shall be granted for a definite stated period of time. Should extenuating circumstances cause the faculty member to alter her original plans for leave, she shall submit such request to the Superintendent for consideration by the Board. A faculty member may return to work at anytime during the first eight weeks after termination of pregnancy or adoption of the child. All notification of requests shall be made in writing by the faculty member.

  • Commercial Operation Date Testing and Modifications Prior to the Commercial Operation Date, the Connecting Transmission Owner shall test the Connecting Transmission Owner’s Attachment Facilities and System Upgrade Facilities and System Deliverability Upgrades and Developer shall test the Large Generating Facility and the Developer Attachment Facilities to ensure their safe and reliable operation. Similar testing may be required after initial operation. Developer and Connecting Transmission Owner shall each make any modifications to its facilities that are found to be necessary as a result of such testing. Developer shall bear the cost of all such testing and modifications. Developer shall generate test energy at the Large Generating Facility only if it has arranged for the injection of such test energy in accordance with NYISO procedures.

  • LEAVE FOR REGULATORY BUSINESS AS PER THE TEACHERS’ ACT 1. Upon written request to the Superintendent or designate from the Ministry of Education, an employee who is appointed or elected to the BC Teachers’ Council or appointed to the Disciplinary or Professional Conduct Board shall be entitled to a leave of absence with pay and shall be deemed to be in the full employ of the board as defined in Article G.6.1.b.
