Common use of Air Conditioning System Clause in Contracts

Air Conditioning System. General: The system shall have ducted supply and return air. The space above the ceiling shall not be used as a supply or return plenum. Each employee in the building will have a personal computer. There will also be peripheral equipment such as printers, photocopiers, fax machines, scanners and computer network servers. The heat generated by this equipment shall be included in the cooling system design calculation. A value of 1,500 Btu’s per person shall be used in the design of the HVAC system. Cooling system can utilize either DX or chilled water system. The condenser sections for either system shall be air cooled, and sized to reject the maximum heat load with outside air temperatures identified BOCA.
