Administrative Hearing Board. The Hearing Board as provided for in the Law Enforcement Officer's Xxxx of Rights (paragraph 727 (c)) shall be composed of three (3) members, all appointed by the Chief of Police. The Chairman of the Hearing Board shall vote to break any ties. One member of the Hearing Board shall be of equal rank and assignment (detective, staff officer, special operations or patrol) as the employee appearing before said Board.

Administrative Hearing Board. Whenever charges are brought against an employee of the Sheriff’s Office, the Sheriff or his designee(s), along with other members of the administrative staff, will hold a hearing with the accused employee and his representative for the purpose of determining the validity of the charges. The employee shall be given 24 hours notice of the hearing. The charged employee shall answer the charges at the hearing. (Only exceptions would fall under Xxxxxxx Rule). The employee may waive his right to a hearing if discipline is a written warning or less severe. Any union member called as a witness shall be given 24 hours notice.

  • Contractor Hearing Board 1. If there is evidence that the Contractor may be subject to debarment, the Department will notify the Contractor in writing of the evidence which is the basis for the proposed debarment and will advise the Contractor of the scheduled date for a debarment hearing before the Contractor Hearing Board.

The letter will provide you with information regarding our determination.

  • Hearing Officer The Hearing Officer shall be jointly selected by the parties within thirty (30) days of the execution of this contract and shall serve for a minimum of one (1) year from the date of selection. At that time the parties may choose to re-appoint the Hearing Officer or select a different Hearing Officer who will also serve for a minimum of one (1) year from date of selection.

  • Board Hearing At the board hearing, evidence may be presented by the administration and the teacher, as to (a) whether a reduction in force is reasonably necessary and is being made in good faith and for the best interests of the District and (b) whether the recommendation to not renew the specific teacher is being made in good faith under this Reduction in Force Agreement.

  • Hearing Decision The decision of the Board shall be in writing and shall contain findings of fact and the personnel action approved, if any. The findings may reiterate the language of the pleadings or simply refer to them. The decision of the Board shall be certified to the Superintendent or designee who recommended the personnel action, and he/she shall enforce and follow this decision.   • Joint Benefits Committee In order to achieve benefit cost reductions, or at a minimum, cost containment, the parties agree to establish and aggressively participate in a Joint Benefits Committee. The parties agree that the Joint Benefits Committee shall explore all potential options or changes that could generate cost reductions to the Benefit Plans with the following order of priorities:

  • Hearing Aids Any active employee who is insured under any one of the 9 District sponsored medical plans may request reimbursement for the costs of 10 hearing aids. The maximum amount of reimbursement shall not exceed one 11 thousand dollars ($1,000) within any three (3) year period. The cost of 12 hardware, fitting tests, and other tests related to the hearing aids purchased 13 shall be included for reimbursement purposes. 14

  • Shared Leave Administration A. The calculation of the recipient’s leave value will be in accordance with applicable Office of Financial Management policies, regulations, and procedures. The leave received will be coded as shared leave and be maintained separately from all other leave balances. All paid leave accrued must be used prior to using shared leave when the employee qualifies for shared leave under 13.2 A.1. Accrued vacation leave and paid military leave allowed under RCW 38.40.060 must be used prior to using shared leave for employees qualified under 13.2 A.2. All paid leave, except sick leave, must be used prior to using shared leave when the employee qualifies for shared leave under 13.2 A.3 and 13.2 A.4.
