year of study means the level at which undergraduate students are registered academically.
year of study means the year in which a student is registered at the University, which ideally corresponds with a student’s academic year of study. However, students who fail modules or who change programmes might not have a corresponding level in terms of academic status, for example, a student in his or her second year of study who has changed programmes after the first year of study would have first-year academic status. For the purposes of determining a student’s year of study, the time spent on BCom 4-year Extended programmes shall not be considered:
year of study means the total aggregate of the course units undertaken by a student within a session.

Related to year of study

  • year of assessment means the period of 12 months commencing on 1st January 1948, and each subsequent period of 12 months.

  • Phase 2 Clinical Trial means a human clinical trial, for which the primary endpoints include a determination of dose ranges or an indication of efficacy in patients being studied as described in 21 C.F.R. §312.21(b), or an equivalent clinical trial in a country in the Territory other than the United States.

  • Budget year means the financial year of the municipality for which an annual budget is to be approved in terms of section 16(1) of the MFMA;

  • Pivotal Clinical Trial means a clinical study of an investigational product in patients with the primary objective of confirming with statistical significance the efficacy and safety with the aim to obtain regulatory approval in any country as described in 21 C.F.R. 312.21(c), or a comparable clinical study prescribed by the relevant regulatory authority in a country other than the United States.

  • Annual Work Plan means any of the Annual Work Plans.

  • Phase II Clinical Study means a human clinical study of a product initiated to determine the safety and efficacy in the target patient population, as described 21 C.F.R. 312.21(b).

  • Phase 3 Clinical Trial means a pivotal clinical trial in humans performed to gain evidence with statistical significance of the efficacy of a product in a target population, and to obtain expanded evidence of safety for such product that is needed to evaluate the overall benefit-risk relationship of such product, to form the basis for approval of an NDA and to provide an adequate basis for physician labeling, as described in 21 C.F.R. § 312.21(c) or the corresponding regulation in jurisdictions other than the United States.

  • Pivotal Trial means (a) a Phase 2 Clinical Trial, or a combination Phase 2 Clinical Trial and Phase 3 Clinical Trial, that (taken together with any other trials completed prior to or concurrently with such trial) is intended to support Marketing Approval for a Product by the relevant Regulatory Authority in the indication under study, or (b) a Phase 3 Clinical Trial.
