Tier 2 RECs definition

Tier 2 RECs means the RECs attributable to generation of the resources whose costs are allocated to a given Tier 2 Cost Pool in accordance with the TRM.
Tier 2 RECs. (03/27/08 Version) means the Environmental Attributes generated by specified renewable resources whose costs are recovered in a Tier 2 Cost Pool.
Tier 2 RECs shall have the meaning as defined in section 1 of Exhibit H.

Examples of Tier 2 RECs in a sentence

  • Nevertheless, Maryland’s RPS obligations through 2007 (latest data available) have been satisfied through submission of the appropriate level of Tier 1 and Tier 2 RECs, or through alternative compliance payments (ACPs).

  • Thus, the LSE would have to verify the purchase of 2,500 Tier 2 RECs in satisfaction of the Tier 2 RPS obligation, or pay compliance fees for deficits.

  • In the event that the force majeure event lasts more than forty-five (45) days, NYSERDA may terminate this Agreement with no further obligation or liability to LSE other than to retire on behalf of LSE for Tier 2 REC compliance purposes any Tier 2 RECs for which LSE has made payment prior to termination.

  • Michigan was the largest supplier of Tier 1 RECs (biomass and landfill gas); Pennsylvania, the largest supplier of Tier 2 RECs (hydroelectric).

  • Upon conclusion of the Settlement and Reconciliation process as described under Section 2.7, NYSERDA will retire in NYGATS on behalf of LSE for purposes of Tier 2 compliance by LSE all Tier 2 RECs purchased by NYSERDA on behalf of LSE for which LSE has provided payment to NYSERDA.

  • BPA will not transfer to, or manage for, any IOU any Tier 2 RECs.

  • Based on the Supplier Annual Reports filed with the Commission for compliance year 2007: 553,374 Tier 1 RECs were used to meet the Tier 1 RPS obligation,32 and 1,382,874 Tier 2 RECs were used towards the Tier 2 RPS obligation.33 Some suppliers paid a compliance fee instead of purchasing RECs, the compliance fee’s paid in 2007 totaled $36,374.

  • New York, Michigan, Ohio, Illinois, North Carolina, Wisconsin and Tennessee all have facilities that are certified to accumulate and sell RECs. Three states provided 60% of the Tier 1 and Tier 2 RECs retired by electric companies and suppliers in 2007: Michigan, Pennsylvania and Virginia.

  • Similarly, for compliance year 2006: 552,874 Tier 1 RECs and 1,322,069 Tier 2 RECs were used to satisfy the Maryland RPS obligation.

  • In the absence of regulations or legislation concerning carbon credits and directly affecting BPA, BPA intends to convey the value of any future Available Carbon Credits to «Customer Name» on a pro rata basis in the same manner as described for Available Tier 1 RECs and Tier 2 RECs in sections 3 and 4 of this exhibit.

Related to Tier 2 RECs

  • Tier 2 Capital has the meaning given to the term “Tier 2 capital” in 12 C.F.R. Part 217, as amended, modified and supplemented and in effect from time to time or any replacement thereof.

  • Tier 2 means the portion of the design- related information contained in the generic DCD that is approved but not certified by this appendix (Tier 2 information). Compli- ance with Tier 2 is required, but generic changes to and plant-specific departures from Tier 2 are governed by Section VIII of this appendix. Compliance with Tier 2 pro- vides a sufficient, but not the only accept- able, method for complying with Tier 1. Compliance methods differing from Tier 2 must satisfy the change process in Section VIII of this appendix. Regardless of these dif- ferences, an applicant or licensee must meet the requirement in Section III.B of this ap- pendix to reference Tier 2 when referencing Tier 1. Tier 2 information includes:

  • Tier 3 Wire Centers are those Embarq Wire Centers that are not Tier 1 or Tier 2 Wire Centers.

  • Tier 2 Support means the Esri Technical Support provided to the Tier 1 Help Desk when a Case cannot be resolved through Tier 1 Support.

  • Tier 1 Help Desk means Customer's point of contact(s) to provide all Tier 1 Support within Customer's organization(s).

  • Tier 2 Capital Event means the receipt by the Company of a legal opinion from counsel experienced in such matters to the effect that the Subordinated Notes do not constitute, or within 90 days of the date of such legal opinion will not constitute, Tier 2 Capital (or its then equivalent if the Company were subject to such capital requirement).

  • Tier 1 Support means the Technical Support provided by the Tier 1 Help Desk.

  • Tier 1 means the portion of the design-related information contained in the generic DCD that is approved and certified by this appendix (Tier 1 information). The design descriptions, interface requirements, and site parameters are derived from Tier 2 information. Tier 1 information includes:

  • Over-Riding Nomination Criteria means the criteria set out in clause 4.2.

  • Distribution Tariff means the Distribution Tariff prepared by the Company and approved by the Commission on an interim or final basis, as the case may be;

  • mandatory control level RBC ’ means the product of .70 and the authorized control level RBC.

  • Tier 1 Capital means Tier 1 capital for the purposes of the Capital Regulations.

  • ISO-NE Tariff means ISO-NE’s Transmission, Markets and Services Tariff, FERC Electric Tariff No. 3, as amended from time to time.

  • eligible Category means Category (1) set forth in the table in paragraph 1 of Schedule 1 to this Agreement;

  • Class A-L Regular Interests The Class A-1A-L, Class A-1B-L and Class A-1C-L Regular Interests.

  • REMIC 2 Regular Interests One of the separate non-certificated beneficial ownership interests in REMIC 2 issued hereunder and designated as a Regular Interest in REMIC 2. Each REMIC 2 Regular Interest shall accrue interest at the related Uncertificated REMIC 2 Pass-Through Rate in effect from time to time, and shall be entitled to distributions of principal, subject to the terms and conditions hereof, in an aggregate amount equal to its initial Uncertificated Principal Balance as set forth in the Preliminary Statement hereto. The following is a list of each of the REMIC 2 Regular Interests: REMIC 2 Regular Interest LTAA, REMIC 2 Regular Interest LTA1, REMIC 2 Regular Interest LTA2, REMIC 2 Regular Interest LTA3, REMIC 2 Regular Interest LTA4, REMIC 2 Regular Interest LTM1, REMIC 2 Regular Interest LTM2, REMIC 2 Regular Interest LTM3, REMIC 2 Regular Interest LTM4, REMIC 2 Regular Interest LTM5, REMIC 2 Regular Interest LTM6, REMIC 2 Regular Interest LTM7, REMIC 2 Regular Interest LTM8, REMIC 2 Regular Interest LTM9, REMIC 2 Regular Interest LTM10, REMIC 2 Regular Interest LTZZ, REMIC 2 Regular Interest LTP and REMIC 2 Regular Interest LTIO.

  • eligible Categories means Categories (1), (2) and (3) set forth in the table in paragraph 1 of Schedule 1 to this Agreement;

  • REMIC 1 Regular Interests REMIC 1 Regular Interest LT1A, REMIC 1 Regular Interest LT1B, REMIC 1 Regular Interest LT1C, REMIC 1 Regular Interest LT1D and REMIC 1 Regular Interest LT1P.

  • L Regular Interest The uncertificated undivided beneficial interest in REMIC II which constitutes a REMIC II Regular Interest and is entitled to distributions as set forth herein.

  • REMIC III Regular Interests The Classes of undivided beneficial interests in REMIC III designated as “regular interests” in the table titled “REMIC III Interests” in the Preliminary Statement hereto.

  • Lower Tier REMIC Regular Interests Each of the Lower Tier REMIC Interests other than the Class LTR Interest.

  • Swap Provider Trigger Event A Swap Termination Payment that is triggered upon: (i) an Event of Default under the Interest Rate Swap Agreement with respect to which the Swap Provider is a Defaulting Party (as defined in the Interest Rate Swap Agreement), (ii) a Termination Event under the Interest Rate Swap Agreement with respect to which the Swap Provider is the sole Affected Party (as defined in the Interest Rate Swap Agreement) or (iii) an Additional Termination Event under the Interest Rate Swap Agreement with respect to which the Swap Provider is the sole Affected Party.

  • REMIC 2 Regular Interest Each of the REMIC 2 Interests other than the Class LT2-R Interest.

  • Additional Tier 1 Capital means capital which is treated as Additional Tier 1 capital (or any equivalent or successor term) under CRD IV requirements by the Relevant Regulator for the purposes of the Issuer and the Group;

  • REMIC 1 Regular Interest Each of the REMIC 1 Interests other than the Class LT1-R Interest.

  • REMIC III Regular Interest The Class CE Interest, Class P Interest, Class IO Interest or any Regular Interest in REMIC III the ownership of which is represented by any of the Class A Certificates or Class M Certificates.
