SUPPORT PARTICIPATING PROVIDERS definition

SUPPORT PARTICIPATING PROVIDERS. Health care service providers who are needed to complement and provide support services to the Primary Care Physicians and who have a contract with the INSURER to provide said services. A referral from the Gatekeeper is necessary. The following will be considered support participating providers, among others: Pharmacies, Hospitals, Health Related Professionals, Clinical Laboratories, Radiological Facilities, Podiatrists, Optometrists, and all those participating providers that may be needed to provide services under the basic and special coverage considering the specific health problems of the Area/Region.
SUPPORT PARTICIPATING PROVIDERS. Health care service providers who are needed to complement and provide support services to the MBHO contract. The following will be considered support participating providers, among others: Pharmacies, Hospitals, Health Related Professionals, Clinical Laboratories, Radiological Facilities, Partial Hospital Programs (PHP), Ambulatory Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), Ambulatory Care and all those participating providers that may be needed to provide mental health care, behavioral services considering the specific mental health and substance abuse problems of the Area/Region. UTILIZATION MANAGEMENT (UM): The process of evaluating necessity, appropriateness and efficiency of mental healthcare services through the revision of information about hospital, service or procedure from patients and/or providers to determine whether it meets established guidelines and criteria approved by the MBHO.

  • Participating provider means an Administrator Hospital or Professional Provider which has a written agreement with the Claim Administrator or another Blue Cross and/or Blue Shield Plan to provide services to participants in the Participating Provider Option program or an Administrator facility which has been designated by the Claim Administrator as a Participating Provider.

  • Non-Participating Provider means a Plan Hospital or Professional Pro­ vider which does not have a written agreement with Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois or another Blue Cross and/or Blue Shield Plan to provide services to participants in a Participating Provider Option program or a fa­ cility which has not been designated by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois as a Participating Provider.

  • Nonparticipating provider means a person, health care provider, practitioner, facility, or entity, acting within their scope of practice, that does not have a written contract to participate in a managed health care system's provider net- work, but provides health care services to enrollees of pro- grams authorized under this chapter or other applicable law whose health care services are provided by the managed health care system.

  • Participating Prosthetic Provider means a Prosthetic Provider who has a written agreement with the Claim Administrator or another Blue Cross and/or Blue Shield Plan to provide services to you at the time services are rendered.

  • Non-Participating Prosthetic Provider means a Prosthetic Provider who does not have a written agreement with the Claim Administrator or another Blue Cross and/or Blue Shield Plan to provide services to you at the time services are rendered.

  • Providers means individuals or organizations --------- licensed to practice dentistry (including specialists) as well as other dental professionals who provide ancillary reimbursable dental services.

  • Data Providers means pricing vendors, analytics providers, brokers, dealers, investment managers, Authorized Persons, Subcustodians, Depositories and any other Person providing Market Data to the Custodian.

  • Non-Participating Orthotic Provider means an Orthotic Provider who does not have a written agreement with the Claim Administrator or another Blue Cross and/or Blue Shield Plan to provide services to you at the time services are rendered.

  • Non-Participating Durable Medical Equipment Provider means a Durable Medical Equipment Provider who does not have a written agreement with the Claim Administrator or another Blue Cross and/or Blue Shield Plan to provide services to you at the time services are rendered.

  • Participating Orthotic Provider means an Orthotic Provider who has a written agreement with the Claim Administrator or another Blue Cross and/or Blue Shield Plan to provide services to you at the time services are rendered.

  • Participating Durable Medical Equipment Provider means a Durable Medical Equipment Provider who has a written agreement with the Claim Administrator or another Blue Cross and/or Blue Shield Plan to provide services to you at the time services are rendered.

  • Identified Participating Lenders has the meaning set forth in Section 2.05(a)(v)(C)(3).

  • Participating Banks means the list of Banks as set out in Table 2 below.

  • Continuing education provider or “CE provider” means an individual or entity that is approved to offer continuing education courses pursuant to [insert reference in State law or regulations governing producer continuing education course approval].

  • Participating Dentist means any Dentist who, at the time of rendering a Covered Dental Service to the Member, has a written agreement with CareFirst BlueChoice or the Dental Plan for the rendering of such service.

  • Participating Agencies means members of National Purchasing Partners for which Vendor has agreed to extend the terms of this Master Price Agreement pursuant to Article 2.6 and Attachment C herein. For purposes of cooperative procurement, “Participating Agency” shall be considered “Purchaser” under the terms of this Agreement.

  • Participating FFI means an FFI that, as from the effective date of any rules requiring withholding on "passthru payments" (as such term is defined pursuant to Sections 1471 through 1474 of the Code and any regulations thereunder or official interpretations thereof), meets the requirements of Section 1471(b) of the Code and any regulations or other official guidance issued thereunder and that has not elected to be withheld upon pursuant to Section 1471(b)(3) of the Code;

  • Plan Provider means a Provider which has a written agreement with Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois or another Blue Cross and/or Blue Shield Plan to provide services to you at the time services are rendered to you.

  • Non-Participating Hospice Care Program Provider means a Hospice Care Program Provider that either: (i) does not have a written agreement with the Claim Administrator or another Blue Cross and/or Blue Shield to provide services to participants in this benefits program, or; (ii) a Hospice Care Program Provider which has not been designated by a Blue Cross and/or Blue Shield Plan as a Participating Provider Option program.

  • Non-Plan Provider means a Provider that does not meet the definition of Plan Provider unless otherwise specified in the definition of a particular Provider.

  • Training provider means an organization meeting the eligibility conditions as mentioned in Data Sheet and selected in accordance with the criteria set forth for the purpose.

  • Participating Prescription Drug Provider means an independent retail Pharmacy, chain of retail Pharmacies, mail-order Pharmacy or specialty drug Pharmacy which has entered into an agreement to provide pharmaceutical services to participants in the benefit program. A retail Participating Pharmacy may or may not be a select Participating Pharmacy as that term is used in the Vaccinations Obtained Through Participating Pharmacies section.

  • Risk Retention Consultation Party means each risk retention consultation party appointed pursuant to the Lead Securitization Servicing Agreement.

  • Individual provider means an individual provider as defined

  • Qualified medical provider means the same as that term is defined in Section 26-61a-102.
