Species of concern definition

Species of concern means species classified as endangered, threatened, sensitive, candidate, or monitored by the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife under Chapter 232-12 WAC. Monitored species shall include those species that are of special interest because they were at one time classified as endangered, threatened, or sensitive species that require habitat of limited availability during some portion of their life cycle.
