Special Hazard Amount As of any Distribution Date, an amount equal to $2,721,144 minus the sum of (i) the aggregate amount of Special Hazard Losses allocated solely to one or more specific Classes of Certificates in accordance with Section 4.05 of this Series Supplement and (ii) the Adjustment Amount (as defined below) as most recently calculated. For each anniversary of the Cut-off Date, the Adjustment Amount shall be equal to the amount, if any, by which the amount calculated in accordance with the preceding sentence (without giving effect to the deduction of the Adjustment Amount for such anniversary) exceeds the greater of (A) the greatest of (i) twice the outstanding principal balance of the Mortgage Loan in the Trust Fund which has the largest outstanding principal balance on the Distribution Date immediately preceding such anniversary, (ii) the product of 1.00% multiplied by the outstanding principal balance of all Mortgage Loans on the Distribution Date immediately preceding such anniversary and (iii) the aggregate outstanding principal balance (as of the immediately preceding Distribution Date) of the Mortgage Loans in any single five-digit California zip code area with the largest amount of Mortgage Loans by aggregate principal balance as of such anniversary and (B) the greater of (i) the product of 0.50% multiplied by the outstanding principal balance of all Mortgage Loans on the Distribution Date immediately preceding such anniversary multiplied by a fraction, the numerator of which is equal to the aggregate outstanding principal balance (as of the immediately preceding Distribution Date) of all of the Mortgage Loans secured by Mortgaged Properties located in the State of California divided by the aggregate outstanding principal balance (as of the immediately preceding Distribution Date) of all of the Mortgage Loans, expressed as a percentage, and the denominator of which is equal to 38.56% (which percentage is equal to the percentage of Mortgage Loans initially secured by Mortgaged Properties located in the State of California) and (ii) the aggregate outstanding principal balance (as of the immediately preceding Distribution Date) of the largest Mortgage Loan secured by a Mortgaged Property located in the State of California. The Special Hazard Amount may be further reduced by the Master Servicer (including accelerating the manner in which coverage is reduced) provided that prior to any such reduction, the Master Servicer shall (i) obtain written confirmation from each Rating Agency that such reduction shall not reduce the rating assigned to any Class of Certificates by such Rating Agency below the lower of the then-current rating or the rating assigned to such Certificates as of the Closing Date by such Rating Agency and (ii) provide a copy of such written confirmation to the Trustee.

Special Hazard Loss Amount As of any Distribution Date, an amount equal to $5,477,967.00 minus the sum of (i) the aggregate amount of Special Hazard Losses allocated solely to the Class B Certificates in accordance with Section 4.02(a) and (ii) the Special Hazard Adjustment Amount (as defined below) as most recently calculated. For each anniversary of the Cut-Off Date, the Special Hazard Adjustment Amount shall be calculated and shall be equal to the amount, if any, by which the amount calculated in accordance with the preceding sentence (without giving effect to the deduction of the Special Hazard Adjustment Amount for such anniversary) exceeds the greater of (A) the product of the Special Hazard Percentage for such anniversary multiplied by the outstanding principal balance of all the Mortgage Loans on the Distribution Date immediately preceding such anniversary, (B) twice the outstanding principal balance of the Mortgage Loan in the Trust Estate which has the largest outstanding principal balance on the Distribution Date immediately preceding such anniversary and (C) that which is necessary to maintain the original ratings on the Certificates as evidenced by letters to that effect delivered by Rating Agencies to the Master Servicer and the Trust Administrator. On and after the Cross-Over Date, the Special Hazard Loss Amount shall be zero.

Special Hazard Loss Any Realized Loss suffered by a Mortgaged Property on account of direct physical loss, but not including (i) any loss of a type covered by a hazard insurance policy or a flood insurance policy required to be maintained with respect to such Mortgaged Property pursuant to Section 3.10 to the extent of the amount of such loss covered thereby, or (ii) any loss caused by or resulting from:

Special Hazard Loss Coverage Amount With respect to the first Distribution Date, $5,000,000. With respect to any Distribution Date after the first Distribution Date, the lesser of (a) the greatest of (i) 1% of the aggregate of the principal balances of the Mortgage Loans, (ii) twice the principal balance of the largest Mortgage Loan and (iii) the aggregate of the principal balances of all Mortgage Loans secured by Mortgaged Properties located in the single California postal zip code area having the highest aggregate principal balance of any such zip code area and (b) the Special Hazard Loss Coverage Amount as of the Closing Date less the amount, if any, of Special Hazard Losses allocated to the Certificates since the Closing Date. All principal balances for the purpose of this definition will be calculated as of the first day of the calendar month preceding the month of such Distribution Date after giving effect to Scheduled Payments on the Mortgage Loans then due, whether or not paid.

Undercollateralized Amount With respect any Certificate Group and Distribution Date, the excess of (i) the aggregate Certificate Principal Balance of such Certificate Group over (ii) the aggregate Stated Principal Balance of the Mortgage Loans in the related Loan Group, in each case calculated on such Distribution Date after giving effect to distributions to be made thereon (other than amounts to be distributed pursuant to Section 4.02(i) on such Distribution Date).

Undercollateralized Group As defined in Section 4.03.

Excess Special Hazard Loss Any Special Hazard Loss, or portion thereof, that exceeds the then applicable Special Hazard Amount.

Overcollateralized Amount As of any Distribution Date, the excess, if any, of (a) the aggregate Stated Principal Balance of the Mortgage Loans for such Distribution Date over (b) the aggregate of the Class Certificate Balances of the LIBOR Certificates as of such Distribution Date (after giving effect to the payment of the Principal Remittance Amount on such Certificates on such Distribution Date).

Excess Overcollateralized Amount With respect to the Class A Certificates and the Mezzanine Certificates and any Distribution Date, the excess, if any, of (i) the Overcollateralized Amount for such Distribution Date (calculated for this purpose only after assuming that 100% of the Principal Remittance Amount on such Distribution Date has been distributed) over (ii) the Overcollateralization Target Amount for such Distribution Date.

Overcollateralized Group As defined in Section 4.03.

Overcollateralization Reduction Amount With respect to any Distribution Date on which the Excess Overcollateralization Amount is, after taking into account all other distributions to be made on such Distribution Date, greater than zero, the Overcollateralization Reduction Amount shall be equal to the lesser of (i) the Excess Overcollateralization Amount for that Distribution Date and (ii) the Principal Remittance Amount on such Distribution Date.

REMIC I Overcollateralized Amount With respect to any date of determination, (i) 1% of the aggregate Uncertificated Balance of the REMIC I Regular Interests (other than REMIC I Regular Interest I-LTP) minus (ii) the aggregate Uncertificated Balance of REMIC I Regular Interest I-LTA1, REMIC I Regular Interest I-LTA2, REMIC I Regular Interest I-LTA3, REMIC I Regular Interest I-LTA4, REMIC I Regular Interest I-LTM1, REMIC I Regular Interest I-LTM2, REMIC I Regular Interest I-LTM3, REMIC I Regular Interest I-LTM4, REMIC I Regular Interest I-LTM5, REMIC I Regular Interest I-LTM6, REMIC I Regular Interest I-LTM7, REMIC I Regular Interest I-LTM8, REMIC I Regular Interest I-LTM9, REMIC I Regular Interest I-LTM10, in each case as of such date of determination.

Special Hazard Mortgage Loan A Liquidated Mortgage Loan as to which a Special Hazard Loss has occurred.

Excess Overcollateralization Amount With respect to any Distribution Date, the excess, if any, of (a) the Overcollateralization Amount on such Distribution Date over (b) the Required Overcollateralization Amount for such Distribution Date.

Specified Overcollateralization Amount means for any Distribution Date, the greater of:

Excess Spread Percentage for any Distribution Date means a fraction, the numerator of which is the Excess Spread Amount for such Distribution Date multiplied by 12 and the denominator of which is the sum of the Nominal Liquidation Amounts of all Tranches of DiscoverSeries Notes as of the first day of the related Due Period.

Special Hazard Coverage The Special Hazard Coverage on the most recent anniversary of the Cut-Off Date (calculated in accordance with the second sentence of this paragraph) or, if prior to the first such anniversary, $4,614,259, in each case reduced by Special Hazard Losses allocated to the Certificates since the most recent anniversary of the Cut-Off Date (or, if prior to the first such anniversary, since the Cut-Off Date). On each anniversary of the Cut-Off Date, the Special Hazard Coverage shall be reduced, but not increased, to an amount equal to the lesser of (1) the greatest of (a) the aggregate principal balance of the Mortgage Loans located in the single California zip code area containing the largest aggregate principal balance of Mortgage Loans, (b) 1.0% of the aggregate unpaid principal balance of the Mortgage Loans and (c) twice the unpaid principal balance of the largest single Mortgage Loan, in each case calculated as of the Due Date in the immediately preceding month, and (2) $4,614,259 as reduced by the Special Hazard Losses allocated to the Certificates since the Cut-Off Date. The Special Hazard Coverage may be reduced upon written confirmation from the Rating Agencies that such reduction will not adversely affect the then current ratings assigned to the Certificates by the Rating Agencies (determined in the case of the Insured Certificates, without giving effect to the Certificate Insurance Policy).

Overcollateralization Amount With respect to any Distribution Date, the excess, if any, of (a) the aggregate Stated Principal Balance of the Mortgage Loans before giving effect to distributions of principal to be made on such Distribution Date over (b) the aggregate Certificate Principal Balance of the Class A Certificates and Class M Certificates immediately prior to such date.

Class C Reserve Account Percentage means, for any Distribution Date on which a condition in the left column of the following table was in effect on the immediately preceding Distribution Date, the percentage in the corresponding right column of the following table (or if more than one conditions were in effect on the immediately preceding Distribution Date, the largest percentage). Condition: The three-month rolling average Excess Spread Percentage is: Class C Reserve Account Percentage:

Delinquency Percentage means, for any Payment Date and the related Collection Period, an amount equal to the ratio (expressed as a percentage) of (i) the aggregate Principal Balance of all 60-Day Delinquent Receivables as of the last day of such Collection Period to (ii) the Pool Balance as of the last day of such Collection Period.

Spread Account Percentage means, (i) 0% if the Quarterly Excess Spread Percentage on such Payment Date is greater than or equal to 5.00%, (ii) 2.00% if the Quarterly Excess Spread Percentage on such Payment Date is less than 5.00% and greater than or equal to 4.50%, (iii) 2.50% if the Quarterly Excess Spread Percentage on such Payment Date is less than 4.50% and greater than or equal to 4.00%, (iv) 3.50% if the Quarterly Excess Spread Percentage on such Payment Date is less than 4.00% and greater than or equal to 3.50%, (v) 4.50% if the Quarterly Excess Spread Percentage on such Payment Date is less than 3.50% and greater than or equal to 3.00%, (vi) 5.50% if the Quarterly Excess Spread Percentage on such Payment Date is less than 3.00% and greater than or equal to 2.50%, (vii) 6.50% if the Quarterly Excess Spread Percentage on such Payment Date is less than 2.50% and greater than or equal to 1.50%, (viii) 7.50% if the Quarterly Excess Spread Percentage on such Payment Date is less than 1.50% and greater than or equal to 0.50% and (ix) 8.50% if the Quarterly Excess Spread Percentage on such Payment Date is less than 0.50%.

Overcollateralization Target Amount As of any Distribution Date, 1.30% of the Initial Aggregate Receivables Principal Balance.

Overcollateralization Increase Amount With respect to any Distribution Date, the lesser of (a) the Overcollateralization Deficiency Amount as of such Distribution Date and (b) the Net Monthly Excess Cashflow for such Distribution Date.

Target Overcollateralization Amount means, with respect to any Payment Date, 3.00% of the Adjusted Pool Balance as of the Cutoff Date. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the Target Overcollateralization Amount shall not exceed the Adjusted Pool Balance on such Payment Date.
