Sailing agreement definition

Sailing agreement means an agreement between ocean common car- riers to provide service by establishing a schedule of ports that each carrier will serve, the frequency of each car- rier’s calls at those ports, and/or the size and capacity of the vessels to be deployed by the parties. The term does not include joint service agreements, or capacity rationalization agree- ments.
