Revised Election definition

Revised Election means an election made by a Participant, in accordance with Section 5.2, to change the date as of which payment of his or her Account Balance is to commence and/or the form in which such payment is to be made.

Examples of Revised Election in a sentence

  • A Revised Election will be deemed to have been approved by the Corporate Executive Compensation Department if it is not disapproved by the Corporate Executive Compensation Department within ten days of the date on which it is received.

  • All payments shall be made in the form or forms specified in the Participant's Deferral Election or Elections or (where applicable) the Participant's Revised Election or Elections.

  • If a Participant has made a Revised Election with respect to amounts the payment of which has been deferred to a certain date, the Participant may not thereafter make another Revised Election with respect to amounts the payment of which, as of the date on which such Revised Election is made and before giving effect to the Revised Election, has been deferred to the same date.

  • Notwithstanding the foregoing or any provision in this Plan, a Revised Election may not cause the impermissible acceleration of any payment, within the meaning of Internal Revenue Code Section 409A or its implementing regulations.

  • A Revised Election will be deemed to have been approved by the Secretary of the Corporation if it is not disapproved by the Secretary of the Corporation within ten days of the date on which it is received.

  • A Revised Election which changes an Existing Election from installment payments to a lump sum payment shall require that the date of such lump sum payment shall be a date that is at least 5 years from the date the initial installment payment would have been made.

  • In addition, with respect to any such Revised Election which changes the timing of any payment, each payment to be made to the Participant shall be deferred by a date which is at least 5 years after the date on which such payment would have been made; provided that, for this purpose, a series of installment payments shall be treated as the entitlement to a single payment on the date of the first payment.

  • The sample is taken and placed in a fresh pot, which is fitted with a tamper evident lid, and a printed label with bar code attached to identify the animal.

  • In addition, with respect to any such Revised Election (excluding a change in the form of an annuity payment election from one form of annuity payment to another annuity form that is “actuarially equivalent” to the prior elected annuity form as determined by the Bank in accordance with applicable law and regulations) the payment of the Participant’s Supplemental Benefits to be paid to the Participant must be deferred by at least five years after the date on which such payment would have been made.

  • A Revised Election will be deemed to have been approved by the Committee if it is not disapproved by the Committee within ten days of the date on which it is received.

  • Mixed Election has the meaning set forth in Section 3.01(b)(iii).

  • Qualified Election means a Participant's waiver of a Qualified Joint and Survivor Annuity or a Qualified Pre-Retirement Survivor Annuity. Any such waiver must be consented to in writing by the Participant's Spouse. The Spouse's consent must: designate a specific Beneficiary (including any class of Beneficiaries or any contingent Beneficiaries, which may not be changed without spousal consent) or expressly permits designations by the Participant without any further spousal consent; acknowledge the effect of the election; and be witnessed by a member of the Committee or a Notary Public. Additionally, a Participant's waiver of the Qualified Joint and Survivor Annuity shall not be effective unless the election designates a form of benefit payment which may not be changed without spousal consent (or the Spouse expressly permits designations by the Participant without any further spousal consent). Notwithstanding this consent requirement, if the Participant establishes to the satisfaction of a member of the Committee that there is no Spouse or the Spouse cannot be located, a waiver will be deemed a Qualified Election. Any spousal consent (or deemed spousal consent) obtained under this provision will be valid only with respect to such Spouse. A consent that permits designations by the Participant without further consent by such Spouse must acknowledge that the Spouse has the right to limit consent to a specific Beneficiary and, where applicable, a specific form of benefit, and that the Spouse voluntarily elects to relinquish either or both of such rights. A revocation of a prior waiver may be made by a Participant without the consent of the Spouse at any time before the commencement of benefits. The number of revocations shall not be limited. No consent obtained under this provision shall be valid unless the Participant has received notice as provided in paragraph (b) below.

  • Contested Election means any election of Directors in which the number of persons nominated for election as Directors in accordance with Section 7 of Article I exceeds the number of Directors to be elected, with the determination that any election of Directors is a Contested Election to be made by the Secretary or other officer of the Fund prior to the time the Fund mails its initial proxy statement in connection with such election of Directors. If, prior to the time the Fund mails its initial proxy statement in connection with such election of Directors, one or more persons nominated for election as a Director are withdrawn such that the number of persons nominated for election as Director no longer exceeds the number of Directors to be elected, such election shall not be considered a Contested Election.

  • Voice Initiated Election means any election concerning dividend options available to Investment Company shareholders or subscribers which is requested by voice over the telephone.

  • Qualified Election Period means the six Plan Year period beginning with the Plan Year in which the Participant first becomes a Qualified Participant.

  • Election Form means the form established from time to time by the Committee that a Participant completes, signs and returns to the Committee to make an election under the Plan.

  • Election Period shall have the meaning set forth in Section 14.3(a).

  • Election Deadline shall have the meaning set forth in Section 3.2.3.

  • Deferral Election means the Participant’s election under Section 3.1 to defer all or a portion of his or her Compensation.

  • Regular election means an election held on a regular election date to elect an individual to, or nominate an individual for, elective office in the regular course of the terms of that elective office.

  • Election cycle means the period beginning on the first day persons are eligible to

  • Distribution Election Form means the form established from time to time by the Plan Administrator that the Director completes, signs and returns to the Plan Administrator to designate the time and form of distribution.

  • Initial Enrollment Period means one of the following periods during which you may first enroll for coverage under this plan:

  • Election Date has the meaning specified in Section 312(h).

  • Non-Elective Contribution means the Employer contributions to the Plan excluding, however, contributions made pursuant to the Participant's deferral election provided for in Section 4.2 and any Qualified Non-Elective Contribution used in the "Actual Deferral Percentage" tests.
