Restaurant General Manager definition

Restaurant General Manager means a Person who has satisfactorily completed Franchisor’s Initial Training program at Franchisee’s expense and will thereafter devote full time and best efforts to the operation of the Restaurant and be vested with the authority and responsibility for the day-to-day supervision of Restaurant Managers and management of the operations of the Restaurant operated under this Agreement, subject to the supervision of the Vice President of Restaurant Operations for the Restaurant.

  • Except as provided in Schedule 5.12 hereto, Purchaser shall extend offers of employment to all of Seller's employees up to and including the level of Restaurant General Manager working in the Restaurants, such employment to commence effective the Closing Date.

  • Any employee who observes workplace violence or harassment or is a victim thereof shall immediately report it to the Restaurant General Manager or Supervisor.

  • Sellers' policy on refranchising (a copy of which is attached as Schedule 5) does not obligate the Sellers to offer transfer opportunities to any of its restaurant-level employees, i.e., all employees at the level of "Restaurant General Manager" or below, who will be affected by sale of the Restaurants.

  • If, during the Term of this Agreement, the Restaurant General Manager is not able to continue to serve in such capacity or no longer qualifies to act as such in accordance with this Section 12(a), Franchisee must promptly notify Franchisor in writing and designate a replacement within thirty (30) days after the Restaurant General Manager ceases to serve, such replacement being subject to the same qualifications listed above.

  • Unless otherwise agreed before Closing, with respect to any of Sellers' restaurant-level employees (i.e., all employees at the level of "Restaurant General Manager" or below) who do not elect to transfer, Sellers will terminate the employment of those employees at the close of business on the day immediately prior to the Closing Date.

  • Concurrently with the execution of this Agreement, Franchisee must designate and retain at all times a Restaurant General Manager who meets Franchisor’s educational, experience, financial and other reasonable criteria for such position, as set forth in the Manuals or otherwise in writing by Franchisor.

  • Franchisee will be solely responsible for all costs and expenses incurred by Franchisee, its Vice President of Restaurant Operations, Restaurant General Manager, Restaurant Managers and any other personnel in connection with any Initial Training program, including, without limitation, costs of obtaining any required certifications, travel, lodging, meals, wages and other living expenses.

  • Franchisor reserves the right to charge a reasonable fee for any Initial Training provided to any replacement or successor Vice President of Restaurant Operations, Restaurant General Manager, Restaurant Managers or other Restaurant personnel Franchisor requires.

  • The Restaurant General Manager must have previously attended and completed to Franchisor’s satisfaction, or must attend and complete prior to working in the Restaurant, Initial Training to Franchisor’s satisfaction as described in Section 5.

  • The Restaurant General Manager will report to the Vice President of Restaurant Operations.

Related to Restaurant General Manager

  • General Manager means the Officer-in-Charge of the general superintendence and control of the Zonal Railway/Production Units and shall also include the General Manager (Construction) and shall mean and include their successors, of the Successor Railway.

  • General Manager of Railway means the officer - in-charge of the General Superintendence and Control of the Railway and shall mean and include their successors, of the successor Railway;

  • Airport Manager means any individual who is properly appointed and designated by the airport owner as the airport manager, and who is responsible for the supervision and operation of the airport to the airport owner.
