Initial Training Program. After the Franchisee executes a lease for the Franchised Location, the Franchisee or, if the Franchisee is not an individual, the person designated by the Franchisee to assume primary responsibility for the management of the ROCKY MOUNTAIN CHOCOLATE FACTORY Store, (“General Manager”) is required to attend and successfully complete the initial training program which is offered by the Franchisor at one of the Franchisor’s designated training facilities. Up to three individuals are eligible to participate in the Franchisor’s initial training program without charge of a tuition or fee. The Franchisee shall be responsible for any and all traveling and living expenses incurred in connection with attendance at the training program. At least one individual must successfully complete the initial training program prior to the Franchisee’s commencement of operation of its ROCKY MOUNTAIN CHOCOLATE FACTORY Store.
Initial Training Program. Prior to the opening of the Franchised Business, Franchisee (or, if Franchisee is a corporation, partnership, or limited liability company, a principal of Franchisee acceptable to Franchisor and who owns at least a fifty percent (50%) equity interest in Franchisee) shall attend and complete to Franchisorʹs satisfaction, Franchisor’s initial training program for Fiesta Insurance franchisees, including a review of the sales support guide that Franchisor provides to Franchisee at least one week before Franchisee opens the Franchised Business. Franchisor shall provide such training without charge to one trainee, who may be Franchisee or another supervisorial or managerial person selected by Franchisee. Following the completion of the initial training program, Franchisee shall provide such initial training program to all of Franchiseeʹs employees and independent contractors who have been approved by Franchisor who shall have direct contact with Franchisee’s clients. Franchisee shall be responsible for all expenses incurred in connection with attending the initial training program including, without limitation, the costs of transportation, lodging, meals, and wages. Franchisor shall, in its sole discretion, select the time and location of the initial training program. The initial training program shall not be provided if (i) Franchisee or any affiliate of Franchisee (or an owner of either) owns or operates a Fiesta Insurance Franchised Business as of the Effective Date; or (ii) this Agreement is executed as a Renewal Franchise Agreement.
Initial Training Program. Franchisee (or, if Franchisee is a corporation, partnership, or limited liability company, its managing shareholder, partner, or member ("Managing Owner")) and the person designated by Franchisee to assume primary responsibility for managing the Restaurant ("Designated Manager") must attend and successfully complete the initial training program offered by Franchisor at one of Franchisor's designated training facilities. The Managing Owner must own at least twenty-five percent (25%) of the voting and economic interest of the franchisee entity. Franchisee acknowledges that successful completion of the initial training program will require, among other things, that each attendee be able to demonstrate that he/she can perform basic math and can read, write, and converse in English by passing a basic skills test. The Managing Owner and the Designated Manager (if designated at the time) must take and pass the basic skills test when Franchisee signs this Agreement and receive a passing score. ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ agrees that the Designated Manager will be fluent in the English language. Up to three (3) individuals (including the Managing Owner and Designated Manager) are eligible to participate in Franchisor's initial training program without paying any tuition or fee. Franchisor may require Franchisee (or its Managing Owner) and/or the Designated Manager (each a “Trainee”) to pass certain tests prior to attending certain portions of the training program. These tests include the basic skills test, which each Trainee must have passed before he/she begins training (and which the Managing Owner must have taken and passed when Franchisee signed this Agreement). Franchisor may require a Trainee to take these tests at facilities operated by Franchisor and its affiliates or at test facilities operated by independent third parties. Any costs related to taking these tests, including travel, lodging or test administration fees charged by third parties, will be borne by Franchisee. Franchisee shall be responsible for any and all travel and living expenses incurred in connection with attending the training program as well as wages or salaries, if any, of the person(s) receiving training or undergoing testing. Franchisee (or its Managing Owner) and the Designated Manager must successfully complete the initial training program before Franchisee begins operating the Restaurant. Franchisor reserves the right to waive all or a portion of the training program or alter the training schedule....
Initial Training Program. For no additional charge, Licensor agrees to provide an initial training program for all of Distributor’s officers and employees designated by Distributor who will be involved with the marketing, promotion and/or sale of Products. The initial training program shall be provided at Distributor’s headquarters at a mutually convenient time and shall last a minimum of two (2) days. The initial training program shall be designed to educate Distributor’s officers and employees about the features of the Products and related technology. The initial training program shall also address the marketing and promotion of Products as well as any other topics that Licensor deems necessary or appropriate in its commercially reasonable judgment. Distributor is solely responsible for all food, lodging and travel costs that Distributor’s officers and employees incur while attending the initial training program.
Initial Training Program. We will provide you and one (1) of your employees (i.e., two natural persons), with an Initial Training Program designed to inform the participants as to the fundamentals of operating the Franchised Business, prior to your opening of the Franchised Business. All personnel attending the Initial Training Program must have a demonstrable relationship to the management and operation of the Franchised Business. The Initial Training Program and all requisite materials will be provided for you and one (1) of your employees for no additional fee. If you will employ an on-Site supervisor, that individual must complete the Initial Training Program, and must read and write English fluently. If you desire to have more than two (2) people attend the Initial Training Program, you must pay an additional Training Fee of Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) for each such person. You will be responsible for your transportation costs, food, lodging and other personal expenses and those of your employees in connection with the Initial Training Program. The Initial Training Program will generally last about nine (9) days, and will be conducted in the Phoenix, Arizona metropolitan area, and/or at such other location as we may designate at our sole discretion. You acknowledge that adequate knowledge regarding the operation of the Franchised Business is essential to the success of your franchise and to the promotion of the System. You shall have an option to obtain additional training and promotional services at $300 per person per day of additional training. Based upon your prior experience in the food service industry and subject to our approval, you may waive all or a portion of the Initial Training Program.
Initial Training Program. The Master Licensee agrees that its responsibilities to Franchisees in the Licensed Territory include the provision of an initial ROCKY MOUNTAIN CHOCOLATE FACTORY training program for each Franchisee, to be conducted at the Master Office, for at least two individuals representing each ROCKY MOUNTAIN CHOCOLATE FACTORY Franchisee.

Initial Training Program. 5.1.1. Before you begin operating, the two persons who you designate (and who we find acceptable) to provide managerial responsibilities (each a “Manager Trainee”) must all successfully attend (at the same time) and successfully complete our initial training program (we may designate portions of the training program that each person must attend and successfully complete), which is held at our headquarters and/or another location(s) that we specify. One Manager Trainee must be your Operating Principal (who meets the criteria in Section 6.15 of this Agreement), unless we mutually agree otherwise. You may designate another person who will be active in the day-to-day activities and management of the Franchised Business to be the second Manager Trainee. You may ask that additional employees be allowed to attend the portions of the initial training that are designed for your employees, and we will have the right to approve or disapprove that request. All trainees must be persons that we find acceptable at all times to serve in their respective capacities. As of the Effective Date, our training program has two components, as follows: (a) An Advanced Operations Course for your Operating Principal, which consists of up to twelve days for your Operating Principal and is conducted at our training facilities in Broward County, Florida, or at another location that we may specify in writing. (b) A Basic Operations Course for any Manager Trainee other than your Operating Principal, which consists of up to twelve days of training and is conducted at our training facilities in Broward County, Florida, or at another location that we may specify in writing. Your Manager Trainees (other than your Operating Principal), and such of the Franchisee’s other employees as we designate must attend this component of training. 5.1.2. We will issue a certificate of completion for each Manager Trainee who completes the initial training program we require to our satisfaction (each such person will be referred to as a “Certified Manager”). We have the right to determine whether a person has or has not successfully completed training. If you (or your personnel) fail to complete initial training to our satisfaction, we may permit you (or they) to repeat the course or allow you to send a substitute to the next available scheduled training session; however, we will have no obligation to extend the opening deadline in Section 4 for this purpose. 5.1.3. Initial Training Program. 1. The parties shall mutually schedule the Owner Orientation module, and the General Manager, Assistant General Manager, Kitchen Manager and Kitchen Supervisor tracks of the Restaurant Management module, of the Initial Training Program so that persons who attend the modules and tracks complete them at least 60 days before the expected Opening Date. The Owner Orientation and Restaurant Management modules shall take place at a location which Company designates. Company shall provide the New Store Opening module at the Franchise Location during the period before and after the Opening Date. Franchisee understands and acknowledges that all meals eaten at Franchisee's Restaurant by Company's representatives during the New Store Opening module shall be at Franchisee's sole cost and expense. 2. At a minimum, Company requires that the following individuals complete the following portions of the Initial Training Program: (i) Franchisee or at least one Primary Owner must complete the Owner Orientation module; (ii) at least 4 different individuals (any one or more of whom may be a different Primary Owner) must complete each one of the separate General Manager, Assistant General Manager, Kitchen Manager and Kitchen Supervisor tracks of the Restaurant Management module according to their job category; (iii) all opening employees must complete the New Store Opening Module. 3. Company shall limit enrollment in the Owner Orientation module to an individual who is the Franchisee or a Primary Owner of the Franchisee. Company shall also (i) limit enrollment in the separate tracks of the Restaurant Management module according to the person's job category, and (ii) establish minimum experience criteria in order for an individual to qualify for the designation of General Manager, Assistant General Manager, Kitchen Manager or Kitchen Supervisor. Company shall identify its minimum experience criteria in the Confidential Manual, which Company may revise at any time, with the new criteria applying prospectively to persons whom Franchisee hires or retains after the date that the new criteria become effective. Initial Training Program. 6.1.1 Operator shall, at all times, employ a general manager and one or more assistant managers and other employees acceptable to Franchisor each of whom shall have been trained and qualified as "Barristas" in accordance with Franchisors policies and standards, and at least one of whom shall be working at the Coffeehouse at all times while the Coffeehouse is open to the public. At no extra charge, Franchisor shall provide an initial training program in the Franchisor's System and methods of operation to up to 5 persons selected by Operator who shall be the general manager and assistant manager(s) of the Coffeehouse. Said initial training program shall consist of up to 4 weeks of training, as Franchisor in its reasonable judgment may determine, at one or more of the following locations: (i) Franchisor's corporate headquarters in Irvine, California, (ii) at a Franchisor-owned or franchised coffeehouse, (iii) at Operator's Location, or (iv) at such place or places as may be designated by Franchisor. In the case of a Operator which is a Business Entity, Franchisor may require the general manager to be an Owner, officer or other designated representative selected by Operator and acceptable to, and approved by Franchisor ("Designated Operator Representative"). Subject to Section 6.1.4, Franchisor will bear its costs of providing the initial training program concurrently to up to 5 persons pursuant to this Section 6.1.1, including Franchisor's staff salaries, materials, and all technical training tools. Operator shall pay all travel, living, compensation, and other expenses, if any, incurred by Operator and/or Operator's employees in connection with attendance at training programs. Operator may not open its Coffeehouse until such training shall have been successfully completed by Operator's general manager, assistant manager and Operator's management team and staff has been certified by Franchisor. Franchisor shall pay no compensation for any services performed by trainee(s) in connection with such training programs. 6.1.2 The contents of the initial training program and manner of conducting such program shall be at Franchisor's sole discretion and control, however, the training course will be structured to provide practical training in the implementation and operation of a Coffeehouse and may include such topics as on-site coffee and espresso drink and food preparation, Barrista training, use of point of sale cash register and/or computer systems, inventory, cas...
