Remarriage definition

Remarriage as used everywhere in this Agreement shall be deemed a remarriage, regardless of whether the remarriage shall be void or voidable or terminated by divorce or annulment or otherwise and shall also be deemed to include circumstances whereby one party shall live with an unrelated person in a husband-wife relationship (regardless of whether they hold themselves out as such) for a continuous period of .

Remarriage means either of the following arrangements that your surviving spouse enters into subsequent to your death:

  • marriage means a marriage lawful where entered into, including a lawful same-sex marriage, regardless of whether the jurisdiction where the hospital is located, or in which the spouse lives, permits such marriages to occur or recognizes such marriages;

  • Child/Children means persons who are of an age of two years and above but who are less than 12 years of age;

  • primary beneficiary means the individual for whose primary benefit the trust is then held. For purposes of Section 8.3, a Qualified Entity is a member of each Family Group to which such one or more Qualified Trusts that are its equity holders belong.

  • Siblings means brothers or sisters. They are defined as children with at least one natural or adoptive parent in common, living at the same or a different address. Children living permanently in the same household at the same address would also be counted as siblings, regardless of their actual relationship to each other. To qualify as a sibling a child must be on the roll of the school in question at the date of application, allocation and admission.

  • Marriage and family therapist means a marriage and family therapist licensed by the board to practice marriage and family therapy as defined in division (G) of section 4757.01 of the Revised Code.

  • Participating Marriage and Family Therapist means a Marriage and Family Therapist who has a written agreement with the Claim Administrator or another Blue Cross and/or Blue Shield Plan to provide services to you at the time services are rendered.

  • Dependent children also means natural children, stepchildren, adopted children, children of a domestic partner, children placed for adoption and foster children.

  • Descendant of an individual means all of the individual's descendants of all generations, with the relationship of parent and child at each generation being determined by the definition of child and parent contained in this section.

  • Non-Participating Marriage and Family Therapist means a Marriage and Family Therapist who does not have a written agreement with the Claim Administrator or another Blue Cross and/or Blue Shield Plan to provide services to you at the time services are rendered.

  • Joint Annuitant means the individual specified as such in the Data Pages. The Joint Annuitant must be the spouse of the Annuitant on the Contract Date.

  • Blood means whole blood collected from a single donor and processed either for transfusion or further manufacturing.

  • Divorce shall refer to the dissolution of the marriage between the Couple. A Divorce is certified through a judgment, decree, or similar document that validates the dissolution of marriage in the jurisdiction of Governing Law.

  • Contingent Annuitant is the natural person who becomes the Annuitant if the Annuitant dies prior to the Income Date.

  • Annuity Starting Date means, with respect to any Participant, the first day of the first period for which an amount is paid as an annuity, or, in the case of a benefit not payable in the form of an annuity, the first day on which all events have occurred which entitles the Participant to such benefit.

  • Former Spouse means the individual who is considered by Applicable Laws to be the Annuitant’s former spouse or common-law partner;

  • Lineal Descendant means a child, grandchild, great grandchild, etc., and shall include only lineal descendants by and through birth, or by legal adoption of an individual who has not attained age 18. The term shall also include individuals so born or adopted after the date of this Agreement.

  • Surviving Spouse means the widow or widower, as the case may be, of a Deceased Participant or a Deceased Beneficiary (as applicable).

  • Covered Dependent means any dependent of a Subscriber’s family, who meets and continues to meet all applicable eligibility requirements, and who is enrolled and actually covered under this Contract other than as a Subscriber.
