Child/Children definition

Child/Children means persons who are of an age of two years and above but who are less than 12 years of age;
Child/Children means unmarried children or grandchildren of the Insured, including natural children from the moment of birth, children from a civil union and step, foster or adopted children from the moment of placement in the Insured’s home.
Child/Children means unemployed and unmarried Child/Children of the Insured Person aged between thirty (30) days and eighteen (18) years (both ages inclusive) or up to twenty three (23) years, if he/she is studying full-time in a recognized institution of higher learning.

Examples of Child/Children in a sentence

  • Family Your legal husband/wife and any number of Child/Children named as Person(s) Insured in the Policy Schedule.

  • Dependents that are full-time students up to age 24 are charged the Child/Children rate.• Dependents, which were covered under a prior Policy with the Insurer and are otherwise eligible for cover under their own separate Policy, will be approved without underwriting for the same product with equal or higher Deductible and with the same conditions and restrictions in effect under the prior Policy.

More Definitions of Child/Children

Child/Children. — means natural, legally adopted and step-children younger than 21 years, and children older than 21 years who are mentally or physically disabled and totally dependent on you and live with you. Children who are dependent on you and who study full-time are included up to the age of 25 years. Married children are not included.
