Qualifying Dependent Care Services definition

Qualifying Dependent Care Services means the following: services that both (1) relate to the care of a Qualifying Individual that enable the Participant and his or her Spouse to remain gainfully employed after the date of participation in the DCAP Component and during the Period of Coverage; and (2) are performed—
Qualifying Dependent Care Services means the following: Services that both (1) relate to the care of a Qualifying Individual that enable the Participant and his or her Spouse to remain gainfully employed after the date of participation in the DCAP Component and during the Period of Coverage; and (2) are performed— in the Participant's home; or outside the Participant's home for (1) the care of a Participant's qualifying child who is under age 13; or (2) the care of any other Qualifying Individual who regularly spends at least eight hours per day in the Participant's household. In addition, if the expenses are incurred for services provided by a dependent care center (i.e., a facility that provides care for more than six individuals not residing at the facility and that receives a fee, payment, or grant for such services), then the center must comply with all applicable state and local laws and regulations.

  • Qualified long-term care services means services that meet the requirements of Section 7702(c)(1) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended, as follows: necessary diagnostic, preventive, therapeutic, curative, treatment, mitigation and rehabilitative services, and maintenance or personal care services which are required by a chronically ill individual, and are provided pursuant to a plan of care prescribed by a licensed health care practitioner.

  • Personal care services means both physical assis- tance and/or prompting and supervising the performance of direct personal care tasks as determined by the resident's needs and does not include assistance with tasks performed by a licensed health professional.

  • Primary care services means the services in respect of which NHS England has a duty or power to make arrangements pursuant to the Primary Care Functions;
