Qualified Exchange Traded Funds definition

Qualified Exchange Traded Funds means exchange traded funds that are:
Qualified Exchange Traded Funds means exchange traded funds that are:(a) authorized by the Commission under 8.6 or 8.10 of the Code; or(b) listed and regularly traded on internationally recognized stock exchanges open to the public (nominal listing not accepted) and (i) the principal objective of which is to track, replicate or correspond to a financial index or benchmark, which complies with the applicable requirements under 8.6 of the Code; or (ii) the investment objective, policy, underlying investments and product features of which are substantially in line with or comparable with those set out under 8.10 of the Code
Qualified Exchange Traded Funds means exchange traded funds that are: (a) authorised by the Commission under 8.6 or 8.10 of the SFC’s Code on Unit Trusts and Mutual Funds; or (b) listed and regularly traded on internationally recognized stock exchanges open to the public (nominal listing not accepted) and (i) the principal objective of which is to track, replicate or correspond to a financial index or benchmark, which complies with the applicable requirements under 8.6 of the SFC’s Code on Unit Trusts and Mutual Funds; or (ii) the investment objective, policy, underlying investments and product features of which are substantially in line with or comparable with those set out under 8.10 of the SFC’s Code on Unit Trusts and Mutual Funds“Realisation Price”means the price at which Units will be realised as more fully described in the section titled “Realisation of Units”“REITs”means real estate investment trusts“reverse repurchase transactions”means transactions whereby the Sub-Fund purchases securities from a counterparty of sale and repurchase transactions and agrees to sell such securities back at an agreed price in the future“sale and repurchase transactions”means transactions whereby the Sub-Fund sells its securities to a counterparty of reverse repurchase transactions and agrees to buy such securities back at an agreed price with a financing cost in the future“securities financing transactions”means collectively securities lending transactions, sale and repurchase transactions and reverse repurchase transactions“securities lending transactions”means transactions whereby the Sub-Fund lends its securities to a security-borrowing counterparty for an agreed fee“SSC”means the State Securities Commission of Vietnam“SFC”means the Securities and Futures Commission of Hong Kong“SFO”means the Securities and Futures Ordinance, Chapter 571 of the Laws of Hong Kong

  • However, the investments in Qualified Exchange Traded Funds shall be subject to paragraph (e) above and unless otherwise specified in this Explanatory Memorandum, investment by a Sub-Fund in Qualified Exchange Traded Funds is considered and treated as a collective investment scheme, for the purposes of and subject to the requirements in above paragraphs (f)(i), (f)(ii) and (f)(1) and the relevant investment limits in Qualified Exchange Traded Funds by a Sub-Fund should be consistently applied.

  • Exchange Traded Fund means a mutual fund scheme that invests in securities in the same proportion as an index of securities and the units of exchange traded fund are mandatorily listed and traded on exchange platform.

  • Exchange-Traded Product or “ETP” means a security traded on an exchange that tracks an underlying security, index or financial instrument. The term “ETP” includes, among other things, exchange-traded funds (“ETFs”), exchange-traded notes (“ETNs”) and exchange-traded commodities (“ETCs”).

  • Publicly Traded Equity Interest means any Equity Interest that is traded on any securities exchange or is quoted in any publication or electronic reporting service maintained by the National Association of Securities Dealers, Inc., or any other comparable organization or entity in which your shares are listed or traded, or any of their successors.

  • Publicly traded partnership means any partnership, an interest in which is regularly traded on an established securities market. A “publicly traded partnership” may have any number of partners.

  • Specified Exchange means the Australian Stock Exchange, the Johannesburg Stock Exchange, the London Stock Exchange Main Market, the Nasdaq Stock Market, the New York Stock Exchange, or the Hong Kong Stock Exchange;

  • Approved Exchange means the New York Stock Exchange and/or the Nasdaq Stock Market.

  • Specified Exchange Date means the first business day of the month that is at least 60 business days after the receipt by the General Partner of the Notice of Exchange.

  • Qualified United States financial institution means an institution that:

  • Designated Exchange means any of The New York Stock Exchange, The NASDAQ Global Select Market, The NASDAQ Global Market, or any successor to any of the foregoing.

  • publicly traded company means any company whose principal class of shares is listed on a recognised stock exchange provided its listed shares can be readily purchased or sold by the public. Shares can be purchased or sold “by the public” if the purchase or sale of shares is not implicitly or explicitly restricted to a limited group of investors;

  • Recognised Exchange means the stock exchanges or markets set out in Appendix II.

  • Assumed State and Local Tax Rate means the tax rate equal to the sum of the products of (x) the Corporation’s income tax apportionment factor for each state and local jurisdiction in which the Corporation files income or franchise tax returns for the relevant Taxable Year and (y) the highest corporate income and franchise tax rate in effect for such Taxable Year for each such state and local jurisdiction in which the Corporation files income tax returns for each relevant Taxable Year.

  • Non-U.S. Person means a Person who is not a U.S. Person.

  • Publicly traded corporation means any Person other than an individual that is organized under the laws of and for which its principal place of business is located in one of the states or territories of the United States or District of Columbia or another country that authorizes the sale of marijuana that:

  • Pre-Exchange Transfer means any transfer or distribution in respect of one or more Common Units (i) that occurs prior to an Exchange of such Common Units, and (ii) to which Section 743(b) or 734(b) of the Code applies.

  • Multi-Exchange Index , if applicable, means each Reference Item specified under the heading "Underlying" in the Product Terms to be a Multi-Exchange Index.

  • Investment Company Act Event means that the Company shall have received an Opinion of Counsel to the effect that, as a result of the occurrence of a change in law or regulation or a written change in interpretation or application of law or regulation by any legislative body, court, governmental agency or regulatory authority, there is more than an insubstantial risk that the Securities Trust is or will be considered an "investment company" that is required to be registered under the Investment Company Act of 1940, as amended, which change becomes effective on or after the Original Issue Date.

  • Disregarded Domestic Subsidiary means any direct or indirect (other than through a Foreign Subsidiary) Domestic Subsidiary of which substantially all of its assets consist of Equity Interests of one or more indirect Foreign Subsidiaries.
