Public Utility Commission of Texas definition

Public Utility Commission of Texas or “PUC” shall mean that agency as presently constituted by the laws of the State of Texas or any successor agen- cy.
Public Utility Commission of Texas. (“PUC” or “Commission”) means the regulatory body authorized by the Constitution of the State of Texas and the laws of the State of Texas promulgated by and enacted by the Governor of Texas, which regulates Basic Local Exchange Service.

The initial values for Annual Energy use are designated in Exhibit C, and shall be adjusted annually as soon as reasonably practicable after January 1, but no later than March 1 of each year

  • Specified public utility means an electrical corporation, gas corporation, or telephone corporation, as those terms are defined in Section 54-2-1.

  • Finance commission means the Finance Commission of Texas.

  • Railways Commission means the Western Australian Government Railways Commission established pursuant to the Government Railways Xxx 0000;

  • Electric Reliability Organization or “ERO” means the organization that is certified by the Commission under Section 39.3 of its regulations, the purpose of which is to establish and enforce Reliability Standards for the Bulk Power System in the United States, subject to Commission review. The organization may also have received recognition by Applicable Governmental Authorities in Canada and Mexico to establish and enforce Reliability Standards for the Bulk Power Systems of the respective countries.

  • Public use means a publicly owned project or a privately owned project that is available for use by the public.
