Participant’s Cash Deferral Account definition

Participant’s Cash Deferral Account means the account established for each Participant which shall be utilized solely as a device to measure and determine the amount of deferred Director’s cash compensation to be paid under the Plan (q) “Plan” means the “2006 Deferral Plan for Outside Directors” as set forth herein and as amended or restated from time to time.

Examples of Participant’s Cash Deferral Account in a sentence

  • During a calendar year, the Participant’s Cash Deferral Account shall accrue interest on amounts held by such Account at the Plan Interest Rate for such year, compounded quarterly on the last day of each quarter.

  • Upon a distribution from a Participant’s Cash Deferral Account, AT&T shall withhold sufficient amounts to satisfy the minimum amount of Federal, state, and local taxes required by law to be withheld as a result of such distribution.

  • A Participant’s Cash Deferral Account shall be distributed to the Participant on March 10 (or as soon thereafter as administratively practicable, as determined by AT&T) of the calendar year elected by the Participant for the Account.

  • A Participant’s contributions shall be credited to the Participant’s Cash Deferral Account on the day the compensation – from which the contribution is to be deducted – is to be paid (“paid,” as used in this Plan, includes amounts contributed to the Plan that would have been paid were it not for an election under this Plan), as determined by the relevant Employer.

  • For purposes of this section, an alteration to the material detriment of a Participant shall include, but not be limited to, a material reduction in the period of time over which the Participant’s Cash Deferral Account may be distributed to a Participant, any reduction in the amounts credited to the Participant’s Cash Deferral Accounts, or any reduction in the Plan Interest Rate (other than as it may fluctuate in accordance with its terms) for Cash Deferral Accounts previously elected by the Participant.

  • In each installment, AT&T shall distribute to the Participant that portion of the Participant’s Cash Deferral Account that is equal to the total dollar amount of the Participant’s Account divided by the number of remaining installments.

  • Interest shall accrue on the balance of each Participant’s Cash Deferral Account commencing with the date the first payment is credited thereto and ending with the final payment therefrom.

  • Upon such conversion, the Participant’s Cash Deferral Account shall be reduced by the amount so converted.

  • On the first day of each calendar quarter, an amount shall be credited to each Participant’s Cash Deferral Account equal to the Interest Rate (as hereinafter defined) on the balance credited to the Cash Deferral Account during the immediately preceding calendar quarter.

  • Any portion of a Participant’s Fees which are deferred in cash shall be credited to the Participant’s Cash Deferral Account.

Related to Participant’s Cash Deferral Account

  • Deferral Account means the Company's accounting of the Director's accumulated Deferrals plus accrued interest.

  • Elective Deferral Account means the account established hereunder to which Elective Deferrals (including a separate accounting for Catch-Up Contributions) are allocated. Amounts in the Participant's Elective Deferral Account are nonforfeitable when made and are subject to the distribution restrictions of Section 12.2(e). The Elective Deferral Account may consist of the

  • Participant’s Account means an account maintained for each Participant’s participation in DSUs and/or RSUs under the Plan;

  • Deferred Account means the participant's Deferred Pension Account, Deferred Dividends Account, Deferred Retainer Account, Deferred Fees Account, Deferred Cash Account and/or Deferred Stock Account.

  • Bonus Deferral means the amount of a Participant’s Bonus Compensation which the Participant elects to have withheld on a pre-tax basis from his Bonus Compensation and credited to his account pursuant to Section 4.1.

  • Payroll Deduction Account means the bookkeeping account established for a Participant in accordance with Section 6.

  • Matching Contribution Account means the separate, individual account established on behalf of a Participant to which the Matching Contributions made on such Participant's behalf are credited, together with all earnings and appreciation thereon, and against which are charged any withdrawals, loans and other distributions made from such account and any losses, depreciation or expenses allocable to amounts credited to such account.

  • Compensation Deferral means the amount or amounts of the Director's Compensation deferred under the provisions of Section 3 of this Agreement.

  • Share Account means the brokerage account established by the Agent for each Participant to which shares of Common Stock purchased under the Plan are credited in accordance with Section 9. The Share Account will be established pursuant to a separate agreement between each Participant and the Agent.

  • Matching Account means the account maintained on the books of the Employer for the purpose of accounting for the Matching Amount and for the amount of investment return credited thereto for each Participant pursuant to Article V.

  • Deferred Stock Account means a bookkeeping account maintained by the Company for a Participant representing the Participant's interest in the shares credited to such Deferred Stock Account pursuant to Paragraph 7 hereof.

  • Deferral Contribution means any contribution made to the Plan by the Employer in accordance with the provisions of Section 5.03.

  • Cash Account has the meaning set forth in Section 2.1(a)(ii).

  • Company Matching Account means (i) the sum of all of a Participant's Annual Company Matching Amounts, plus (ii) amounts credited in accordance with all the applicable crediting provisions of this Plan that relate to the Participant's Company Matching Account, less (iii) all distributions made to the Participant or his or her Beneficiary pursuant to this Plan that relate to the Participant's Company Matching Account.

  • Stock Account means the account maintained on behalf of the Participant by the Custodian for the purpose of holding Stock acquired under the Plan.

  • Employer Contribution Account means, for any Participant, the account established by the Administrator or Trustee to which Employer Contributions made under Section 3.5 for the Participant's benefit are credited.

  • ESOP Account means a Participant’s account to which are credited Matching Contributions made to the Plan after March 31, 1989, and earnings and losses thereon.

  • Deferral Contributions are Salary Reduction Contributions and Cash or Deferred Contributions the Employer contributes to the Trust on behalf of an Eligible Employee, irrespective of whether, in the case of Cash or Deferred Contributions, the contribution is at the election of the Employee. For Salary Reduction Contributions, the terms "deferral contributions" and "elective deferrals" have the same meaning.

  • Plan Year means the calendar year.

  • Deferral Year means each calendar year during which the Trustee makes, or is entitled to make, Compensation Deferrals under Section 3 hereof.

  • Deferral Date means the date Fees would otherwise have been paid to the Participant.

  • Deferred Compensation Account means the account maintained with respect to each Participant under the Plan. The Deferred Compensation Account shall be credited with Participant Deferral Credits and Employer Credits, credited or debited for deemed investment gains or losses, and adjusted for payments in accordance with the rules and elections in effect under Section 8. The Deferred Compensation Account of a Participant shall include any In-Service or Education Account of the Participant, if applicable.

  • Annual Deferral Amount means that portion of a Participant's Base Annual Salary and Annual Bonus that a Participant elects to have, and is deferred, in accordance with Article 3, for any one Plan Year. In the event of a Participant's Retirement, Disability (if deferrals cease in accordance with Section 8.1), death or a Termination of Employment prior to the end of a Plan Year, such year's Annual Deferral Amount shall be the actual amount withheld prior to such event.

  • Plan Account means the account established for each Participant pursuant to Section 8(a).

  • Matching Contribution means an Employer contribution made to this or any other Defined Contribution Plan on behalf of a Participant on account of an Employee Contribution made by such Participant, or on account of a Participant's Employee Elective Deferral, under a plan maintained by the Employer.

  • Employer Account The Participant's Matching 401(k) Contributions Account, Matching Thrift Contributions Account, Employer Contributions Account, Qualified Matching Contributions Account and Qualified Nonelective Contributions Account, as the case may be.
