water meter means any apparatus for measuring or showing the volume of water supplied to, or of effluent discharged from any premises;
Meters shall have the meaning set forth in Section 4.6(a) hereof.
Fuel system means the components which store or transport fuel on board the vehicle and comprise the fuel tank system, all fuel and vapour lines, any non-tank mounted fuel pumps and the activated carbon canister.
Meter means a water meter as defined by the Regulations published in terms of the Trade Metrology Act, 1973 (Act No. 77 of 1973), or, in the case of water meters of size greater than 100 mm, a device which measures the quantity of water passing through it;
voltage ride through as used herein shall mean the ability of a Small Generating Facility to stay connected to and synchronized with the system or equipment of the Transmission Owner and any Affected Systems during system disturbances within a range of under-voltage and over-voltage conditions, in accordance with Good Utility Practice and consistent with any standards and guidelines that are applied to other generating facilities in the Balancing Authority Area on a comparable basis.
Stripping means any activity that removes the vegetative surface cover including tree removal, clearing, grubbing, and storage or removal of topsoil.
Outputs means the goods or services that are produced by an entity or other person;
Compartment means a part of the EU guarantee defined in terms of the origin of the resources backing it;
voltage means the root-mean-square value of electrical potential between two conductors.
Engine degreaser means a cleaning product designed to remove grease, grime, oil and other contaminants from the external surfaces of engines and other mechanical parts.
Drainage system means one or more artificial ditches, tile drains or similar devices which collect surface runoff or groundwater and convey it to a point of discharge.
Taximeter means any device for calculating the fare to be charged in respect of any journey in a hackney carriage or private hire vehicle by reference to the distance travelled or time elapsed since the start of the journey, or a combination of both; and
Master Meter means the meter controlled by the licensed distributor and used for settlement of the master bill with the master consumer;

Rack means a mechanism for delivering motor vehicle fuel or diesel from a refinery or terminal into a truck, trailer, railroad car, or other means of non-bulk transfer.
Consumption of a chemical means its conversion into another chemical via a chemical reaction.
Duct is a single enclosed path to house facilities to provide Telecommunications Services.
Passenger compartment means the space for occupant accommodation, bounded by the roof, floor, side walls, doors, outside glazing, front bulkhead and rear bulkhead, or rear gate, as well as by the electrical protection barriers and enclosures provided for protecting the occupants from direct contact with high voltage live parts.
Sewage sludge weight means the weight of sewage sludge, in dry U.S. tons, including admixtures such as liming materials or bulking agents. Monitoring frequencies for sewage sludge parameters are based on the reported sludge weight generated in a calendar year (use the most recent calendar year data when the NPDES permit is up for renewal).
Overall width of a vehicle means a dimension which is measured according to ISO standard 612-1978, term No. 6.2. In the case of vehicles of category other than M1, in addition to the provisions of that standard, when measuring the vehicle width the following devices shall not be taken into account:
Campsite means any place where any bedding, sleeping bag, or other material used for bedding purposes, or any stove or fire is placed, established or maintained for the purpose of maintaining a temporary place to live, whether or not such place incorporates the use of any tent, lean-to, shack, or any other structure, or any vehicle or part thereof.
Sewage system means the entire sewage treatment and subsurface disposal system;
Runway means a defined rectangular area on a land aerodrome prepared for the landing and take-off of aircraft;
Kilowatt-hour means the basic unit of electric energy equal to one Kilowatt of power supplied to or taken from an electric circuit steadily for one hour. One-Kilowatt hour equals 1,000 Watt-hours. Electric energy is commonly sold by the Kilowatt-hour.
Operating pressure means the pressure at which the parts of an irrigation system are designed by the manufacturer to operate.
Pressure means the total load or force per unit area acting on a surface.
