LGPL means the GNU Lesser General Public License, which is a free, copyleft license used primarily for software libraries. The main difference between the GPL and the LGPL is that the latter allows the work to be linked with or used by a non-(L)GPLed program, regardless of whether it is free software or proprietary software. The non-(L)GPLed program can then be distributed under any terms if it is not a derivative work. GNU LGPL (LGPLv3) was published on June 29, 2007. Related to LGPL

  • Specific license means a license, under requirements prescribed by the department by rule, to possess, use, manufac- ture, produce, transfer or acquire radioactive material or devices or equipment utilizing radioactive material.

  • Public library means a library that is lawfully established for free public purposes by 1 or more counties, cities, townships, villages, school districts, or other local governments or a combination thereof, or by a public or local act, the entire interests of which belong to the general public.
