  • Consulting Services means services of an advisory and intellectual nature provided by consultants using their professional skills to study, design, organize, and manage projects, encompassing multiple activities and disciplines, including the crafting of sector policies and institutional reforms, specialist advice, legal advice and integrated solutions, change management and financial advisory services, planning and engineering studies, and architectural design services, supervision, social and environmental assessments, technical assistance, and programme implementation;

  • Local Services means those services, facilities or things which are under the jurisdiction of the municipality and are related to a plan of subdivision or within the area to which the plan relates in respect of the lands under Sections 41, 51 or 53 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 19990, Chap. P.13, as amended, or any successor thereof;

  • Medical services means Medically Necessary services, including, as the context requires, Confinement, treatments, procedures, tests, examinations or other related services for the investigation or treatment of a Disability.

  • Pretrial Services Officer (i.e., USPSO) means the individual appointed by a United States District Court to provide pretrial release investigations, recommendations and supervision services for that court. “Pretrial Services Officer” refers to the individual responsible for the direct supervision of a client receiving drug/alcohol testing and/or treatment and/or mental health treatment services.
